I’ve been wanting to get an Aneros ever since the before the Helix was released, and now that they’re more affordable I’m going to finally make the purchase. However, with all the models available now, I’m having some trouble deciding which to go for. I’m not new to anal play by any means, and definitely enjoy a “full” feeling down below, so I’ve been considering buying the Progasm however, since I’m new to Aneros devices/prostate massage, I’ve been recently eyeing the Helix more and more. There’s also the Progasm Jr now, and I’m unsure what the size difference between that and the Helix is. I’m only 5’7 if that has any importance. Anyone have any recommendations on which model to purchase?

Ok, so I was in your same boat. I wanted an Aneros, had been looking at them for years, finally ready to buy one, and no stranger to anal play. I bought mine at a local sex shop and had a great chat with the clerk about which to get.
I went with the Progasm.
Now, I am sure that those in this sub who own multiple different Aneros toys will offer much more nuanced advice, but I’ll say this: I am so glad I went with the Progasm.
I also like a more full feeling, and I love the aggressive styling of the device. Just had a session today that was just flat out awesome. I was new to sex toys in general, and this purchase has been freaking perfect. So I would seriously consider the Progasm.
I have a Helix and a Progasm and when it comes down to it the Helix is good but the Progasm is better. Im 6’3″ and the both hit the right spot but the Progasm hits hit better because it’s bigger.

Helix Syn vs Progasm Jr vs Progasm vs Progasm Ice
I didn’t go for the Helix because i’ve been experimenting with butt plugs for years… and i’m used to a thick base.
I ruled out the Progasm, because i’ve read reviews that Progasm Ice (which is the same size) is made of better plastic and has better mobility.
Between Progasm Jr and Progasm Ice, i chose the former (it’s arriving tomorrow). It’s better to get used to the sensations and then go for the bigger one… than go straight for the bigger one and risk having an uncomfortable experience.
