For those of you who have orgasmed, please clear up somethings for me.

I would like to start by stating my understanding of climax vs orgasm. My understanding is that most guys who think they’ve had a prostate orgasm have actually only climaxed.

These waves of pleasure are climaxes. Climax is that feeling of getting close to the summit. Orgasm on the other hand is that feeling of going over the top. If that makes sense!

So to date, I’ve only ever experienced climax. I’ve gotten really very close to orgasm and because of this I’m extremely confident they’re possible under the right conditions, but so far have not been able to go over the edge.

Now I’m sure if I had a partner willing to massage my prostate I would have already had an orgasm by now. As it is, I am still proud of my progress and I believe I will achieve on some day.

I also found a local company that specializes in prostate massage (well one lady), but the thing is I’m sure what she’ll offer is merely sticking her finger up your ass while she jerks you off. Obviously this isn’t what I’m after. It defeats the point.

My progress so far is – I feel I have mastered climaxes. I am now entering into the phase of contractions. I was really close yesterday and then my batteries died. This tends to happen. I was thinking of getting another device so I can swop them out if the batteries die on me.

Now here is my actual question. One part of me is wondering maybe I’m not achieving orgasm because I am ejeculating too regularily. So I’ve decided to stop ejeculating until I reach an orgasm. So no more finishing off by hand.

My question is – Will my body eventually store enough semen to make prostate orgasm – release of fluid, or intense orgasm (not climaxes) possible?

I’m sure I’m not the first guy to ever get this idea, so did it work for you? If yes, after how many days of not jerking off and daily prostate play did it finally work for you?

  1. You don’t necessarily have to edge several weeks to get a prostate orgasm. Some say it helps. For me it puts too much pressure on my sessions like “come on, you better orgasm since you’ve waited so long”.

And focusing on orgasm leads to no orgasm. Whereas focusing on pleasure does lead to orgasm.

And as you said, I’ve had many super O’s. They’re delightful. Last longer and feel stronger than regular penile orgasms. But the first time I had one, I actually ended up having so many orgasms in a row that I actually reached another state of consciousness. I couldn’t control my body anymore and was experiencing waves and waves of pleasure sending me out of my body.

I hope you can find it I’ve day!

  2. Here is one way of looking at things…..orgasm and ejaculation are 2 separate things that happen at the same time. Prostate stimulation is a slow building form of arousal that will build to heights that can trigger an orgasm like none you have felt before. I would suggest you get a non vibrating aneros because vibrating toys are way to much stimulation and semen retention is not necessary if you are have a healthy libido.

  3. As far as terminology goes: “climax” is just a euphemism for orgasm. Pleasure waves are pleasure waves; there’s no separate term for that.

  4. Wait so for all these time I’ve been climaxing instead of having prostate orgasms? Sweet! Can’t wait for what’s next then.
