Hi, I have a question about the use of aneros with and without using Marijuana. When I am stoned my orgasms start pretty much as soon as I insert, however, I have less luck when not stoned. I can eventually get there, but it’s not as intense and takes a lot longer. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any way to make the sober sessions the same intensity?

I feel the same way. They work better stoned.
Even with marijuana I barely get much unfortunately. Random Sad fact: I started using marijuana solely to try and get something out of anal play.

IMO, if cannabis really worked, one would have massive A-less sessions. No Aneros, no toy, no dildo, etc should be be needed. My sessions are the same, with or without cannabis.

Sorry LONG post, hope it’s worth it for you. I’ve been using Aneros successfully for many years with and without weed. Here are my experiences:
Sober: What I can say is I need to spend a little more time to get my mind calmed down and “tune-in” to the goings-on down there. Also, don’t come home from work and go straight the toy chest and get this out – won’t work. I need to get warmed up with some porn. Then no vids, no TV/radio on in the background, nothing that distracts my head – that seems to make the difference for me. Sometimes I play some ambient music. I can definitely have a full-body orgasm without being stoned but it takes longer and more concentration.
Few tokes: Same as OP I’m quivering all over in under a minute without too much effort and it can go on so long I have to take it out. It can be insane and awesome – I totally lose control but not in a freaky way though.
Now I’ve be doing this long enough now I can even feel 80% of the sensation without even using the toy when I concentrate. No shit, driving in traffic, queued up that grocery store, etc. an I can make my prostate start to tingle/throb/pulse by focusing on it problem is, I get a hard-on at the same time so in the queue it maybe not the best. And, I you probably think I’m full of shit but it’s the case.

I have found that I more reliably have intense dry orgasms with a sativa strain than indica. Not sure why (I’m sure someone has a sciency answer for that), but the effect is more pronounced (even with one hit or a low dosage).
