Never done any prostate massage or anything like that ( I did play around in my bum once though).
Anyway, I am considering getting an aneros or similar device for some solo play.
Sooo, any advice about what particular device would be good for a first timer? What kind of lube would be good to use (water based or silicone based or whatever. Is it even safe? I don’t want to risk any incontinence or something like that in the future.
Any other advice that I didn’t think to ask for is welcome 🙂

I would say the Helix Syn is a great place to start. It’s small, so slips in easy. The silky touch helps with getting used to the feeling. You’ll defy risky want to stick to a water based lube for the syn and any other aneros that’s silicone.
The regular Helix is a great option as well and is made of hard plastic, so you can use whatever lube floats your boat. Since it is hard plastic though, it could take a little more getting used to if you’ve never put something in your bum before.
I started with the Helix Syn. It’s still the only thing I’ve put in my butt, and I love it. I’d also recommend Sliquid Sassy for lube. There is no risk of incontinence, your anus is perfectly equipped to stretch. I’m currently waiting on my njoy wand to arrive, I’ll let you know how it works for a beginner.
