Thank you to everyone on this subreddit for all the reviews and recommendations, i finally got an aneros and am planning on using it tonight.
I have light experience with anal play with fingering but nothing that felt like woah good.
I’m planning on smoking a lil weed, using a lot of lube and haven’t cum in about ten days.
Was wondering if you guys had any more tips tricks or advice for the best session possible ! Thanks again!

Don’t expect anything, other than to have a good (sesh) time. The rest will come if you give it a chance. Use other toys as well, as this has helped strengthen my ass muscles and muscle memory. It’s also helped to stretch me out, which I know sounds counter intuitive, but my Helix still feels tight inside, but seems to move around a lot more inside now.
The biggest thing is that whether you get any anal stimulation this first time or not, keep your hands off your dick. Seriously. You’ll probably break at some point (I did, twice real briefly, just out of habit) but try to pay attention to the feeling. When I did it, I wasn’t hard but semi-chubbed, but when I felt it it felt very different. Not stimulated, though it felt thick. It wasn’t quite numb, but there was nothing happening. If you get that, I figure that you’re focusing on the prostrate area well enough that you’ve made decent progress even if you don’t get the shakes.
Based on my own experience, I recommend just putting it in, getting to a nice position (for me laying down on my side with legs slightly bent) and doing NOTHING. Not contracting any muscles down there, but just relaxing as much as you possibly can. The moment you notice any kind of tension creeping in, relax again. If the pressure on your prostate starts to feel painful, again see if you’re actually contracting too much, and just try to relax again.
For me the best things started to happen after giving up the idea of orgasming. Just laying down and relaxing the whole body is such an amazing and, dare I say therapeutic experience.
