Which Aneros Should I buy next?

I’ve been learning on the Helix Classic which is pretty much the older version of the Helix Trident (I cut the curly tail off and what a difference that made). I like the hard plastic versions so I can use non-water based lubes & stuff. What would be a good choice to add for an intermediate user? Open to suggestions.

  1. My personal favorite is the MGX. It has a more subtle feel but sometimes smaller is better. You can also use it longer than the Helix without soreness (if you’re into 1.5 – 2 hr sessions).

I also like the Vice (now Vice2), which is about the same size as the Progasm, but has a vibe option that is sometimes nice to have (I use it both with and without the vibe). It is silicone-based, so you can’t use silicone lubs, but I’ve never had any issues with Aneros Syn toys and oil-based lubes or combo oil/water lubes.

  2. I have almost every model but the one that really accelerated my journey was the Tempo. The heavy steel reacts to kegels in a different kind of way. Really thought me my muscles.

I started with Helix and MGX. I think they’re too similar to tell the difference but though I always had “nice” sessions, I never had a super O. Then I tried the Tempo. It pushed me so close to the edge but never over. But I kept trying. Then consistently within minutes session after session I would get so so close with the Tempo. I went back to the MGX with my new found muscle control and feeling and Booom. Instant orgasm. Then I tried Helix. Orgasm. Then I went back to the Progasm. Orgasm.

Now I start all sessions with about 20mins of Tempo. Then put in the next toy.
