New to this type of product

Hi I just bought my first aneros type toy and I’m not sure if I’m doing it right and I’m not sure how it’s supposed to feel. I’m used to my dildo and wand that’s a lot of rubbing and stroking and “hitting”. I just tried using it and I have absolutely no idea what’s working and what’s not
