Gotta say this group sold me on the Aneros just from reading and decided to try it for myself. I ordered the helix and the progasm red ( couldnt pass up the sale 🤷‍♂️)
I was so excited when they arrived in the mail. Couldn’t wait to use it. I’m sticking with the Helix for now as I’m not used to anal insertion.
So here are my questions.
During my first time using it my body experienced involuntary shakes, is this a P-wave?
What are some of your favorite positions to hit the prostate just right?
How long should you leave it in as you are just getting started? And how often? Daily? Weekly? Etc.
When it was in I found myself tensing my sphincter to kind of help move it in and out? Should I be doing this or is the key to keep it relaxed?
Afterwards I farted a lot…. like a lot and I kinda liked it. I didn’t really see anyone else talking about it and wondering if anyone else out there experiences this and enjoys it as much as I did?

No. The P stands for pleasure, so if you experience waves of pleasure, that’s a P-wave. I remember experiencing shaking in my first couple of sessions. I think it was just because my body was experiencing something new. Maybe some physical trauma or stress was being released? This is a very unresearched topic so make up your own conclusions.

For me I like to lie on my back with my feet flat on my bed and my knees bent. Sometimes I put a pillow under my lower back/hips.

You can do this daily if you like. You might get bored of it and find it hard to make progress this way as you hit many obstacles along the way, and it seems the best way to tackle these obstacles is to take a few days off and think about it. Sometimes your body just needs rest too. Some people just don’t get the time to enjoy themselves so might only use their aneros once or twice a month, some people on the other hand might use theirs 3 or 4 times a week. In terms of duration, my sessions are almost never under an hour unless I just can’t settle in, and they usually last 90m-2h. I quite often smoke weed just before my sessions too.

It’s quite arduous at times, but you need to figure this out for yourself since everyone really is SO DIFFERENT when it comes to this. If you can reach a state of mind where you are completely relaxed and your anal muscles are doing the work, then you will be in heaven. It takes a lot of effort to get there, but it’s not something that is forced. I think most people get caught out here. Instead of relaxing and enjoying the sensations that come, most people get caught up on seeking pleasure and trying to reach orgasm.

PWAVES are as per MR Abstaining Bhudda – waves of pleasure, they can be light come in series or just a small one off, or they can be quite strong. The Shaking is possibly somewhat down to position and your tension levels, although when I hit PGASM and Super O almost all of me is shaking.
I do note that as I warm up I sometimes have shaky legs especially if my knees are touching, which can be nice but is sometimes a bit much for me.
Position?
On back knees drawn up about 1/2 way feet flat (starting position).
I also like kneeling with my spine straight up and leaning against something (like the edge of the bed), or even standing and leaning my butt cheeks against something. Once things are moving I may roll to my side one leg drawn up, but this is for me usually an attempt to slow things down.
How long to leave it in?
Your body will tell you when you’ve had enough and it’s possibly quite tiring (was for me) when you start out. Should I think at a minimum give it 30-45 mins per session.
How often?
Varies wildly for everyone I think. I made a point of daily 40+ min sessions for two weeks while listening to mindgasm (was on leave) and that got me to PGASM land. Although less frequent sessions would in hindsight probably have achieved the same thing. I’d suggest 2 or 3 sessions a week for a beginner, but only you can work out how much you need.
Tensing?
The sphincter? Normal and you’re probably tensing the PC muscle at the same time although you may not be aware of doing so. Go listen to Mindgasm lesson one and learn to isolate these two muscles. It will help your journey.
Flatulence?
Not really had this issue, but I try to be ’empty’ before any session so there’s probably not much gas built up.
Mindset
You didn’t ask this but I think it’s critical. Some men learn to PGASM really quickly, most don’t. Don’t go into any session expecting great things. Just relax and listen as you go for small whispers of pleasure from your prostate and ass, consider what you were doing when those first nice little waves happened. Modify your routine a little around that. RELAX – NO EXPECTATIONS.
My wife has said that orgasm is for her all in the head, she has to let go of the day and give into it. And she finds it funny that her husband now has to do the same to have PGASMS.
Anyway – hope this helped a little. This board is a treasure of help and advice, it’s certainly made a difference to my experience.
