Decreasing my porn consumption may be helping significantly?

I have been practicing with aneros for four years now, but never what I would call a Super-O. Many sessions where the sensations have been better than ever before, though. I own the Helix Syn, Eupho, and Progasm.

After reading enough posts about the distraction it causes, I’ve decided to begin cutting porn out. This is the end of my second two-week hiatus from it, and recently every other session has started feeling leaps and bounds better than it ever has before.

Porn is still present to some degree in my sessions–I usually warm up with it, and listen to some audio porn during, but that’s now the only time I consume porn, and I hope to continue decreasing this in the coming months.

Tonight, I started to feel the sensations begin to spread from my pelvis outward, for the first time ever, but my concentration was already collapsing, and it was over in a flash.

The session before last, I experienced pleasant tingling and aching in my penis and prostate, which was another first for me.

As amazing as the sessions have started becoming, I’m still learning to strike the balance between “relaxed” and “focused.” I hope I’ll be blessed with continued success, and that you all will be, too!

  1. I haven’t watched porn since I started my Aneros journey in February. I also haven’t jerked off since then either.

  2. I sometimes would start by watching some porn but once aneros ‘takes over’ I can’t focus on anything else other than the bodily sensation.

  3. Good for you, and once you completely cut it out you will thank yourself.

I’ve been practicing for nearly 10 years now, and while it’s all been very good, the last year has been mind expanding.

Firstly, I’ve cut way back on traditional orgasms. I used to be a daily or every other day. Now I’m at roughly once a week.

I won’t have a session until at least 3 days after a traditional orgasm. Additionally, I have completely stopped having traditional orgasms to finish my sessions. By disconnecting the traditional orgasm from the aneros session it will subconsciously keep your focus on where it should be, that is on the prostate and other areas.
