I’m having an Aneros Helix for a few weeks. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to induce involuntary contractions of the sphincter and PC muscles by tensing and relaxing them. It also doesn’t make sense to me how this is supposed to be brought about by training these muscles (-> mindgasm). After all, if I train these muscles, they get stronger, get used to the load, which is rather counterproductive to involuntary contractions due to fatigue, isn’t it?
Does anyone have any tips on how I can achieve involuntary contractions as a precursor to a (super) O?
The massage of the prostate by the Aneros is also rather weak/barely felt by me. I suspect that the Helix is too short and thin (I feel more with the Nexus Glide) and will try the Progasm. Thanks in advance for your tips.

Honestly, don’t worry about involuntary contractions. Sometimes they’ll happen in a session, sometimes they won’t, but they’re absolutely not a prerequisite for feeling pleasure/hitting your Os. When I first started I had similar worries, and now I realize it was more of a distraction than anything.
My advice is to just keep at it. It can feel a little slow and frustrating sometimes, but it takes time to “awaken” your prostate to this type of stimulation, and I believe this primarily happens via repetition/practice.
Getting to orgasm is all about creating a feedback loop between the pleasure you’re feeling now and the arousal you feel in response to that pleasure. By welcoming the pleasure, devoting your attention to it, and feeling excited about it, you’ll ratchet yourself up to a slightly higher level of pleasure. In conjunction with this, notice any sexual tension in your prostate region, and any arousal in your penis; welcome and devote yourself to that as well. Mentally link the pleasure, the tension and arousal, and imagine yourself getting more and more aroused. Rinse and repeat!
For me, this works best when having involuntaries, because they get stronger on each cycle, ultimately becoming orgasmic contractions.
