Basically, I own an MGX classic and want to upgrade to a Helix or an Eupho. It’s been years and I still haven’t made any substantial progress with my MGX despite knowing my prostate well by now, so I thought that maybe it was time to change models. I guess my question is whether failing with the MGX implies that the Helix would make a better upgrade than the Eupho or viceversa.
From my experience, I don’t feel like I need to go up in size and that’s why I’ve narrowed it down to the Helix and Eupho, but I’m still undecided between the two. I used to think that the MGX was overall too aggressive but it turns out it’s probably just the P-tab, which I eventually learned to manage. Sessions are now kinda pleasurable but overall dull, and I can’t really feel contact with the prostate.
Side note: go ahead and comment even if the post gets a little old, as it’ll be some time before I can get the new model and it may also help others.

I have 10+ different Aneros models in various configurations and I was initially skeptical about the Eupho but it is the one that has provided consistent great results for me. I have both the syn and hard plastic versions of it. The P and K arms on the syn are really flexible so provide a gentle touch. The hard plastic one is much more rigid so provides more leverage. I had a fantastically strong Super-O with the hard plastic one yesterday.
I have two versions of the Helix; original, and syn V. As aggressive as they look profile wise they just haven’t provided the feel that I would expect.
The beauty of Aneros though is that everyone reacts to different models differently so your experience may differ.
Good luck in your quest! I’ve been at this off and on for over 10 years and am just now getting stellar results. Well worth the wait and effort though!

I find that some sessions one model works better than others. And sometimes missal that have consistently worked are just eh….
+1 for the Eupho. Greatest purchase I have made in this journey. I started with the Helix and will occasionally go back to it but I still enjoy the Eupho more. It’s more subtle and intense than the Helix. I prefer the hard plastic version because it’s easy to clean and lube.
