Relatively new to this whole world.
I started out with the MGX. Purchase decision basically based around what Amazon had in stock at the time I was buying (this was at the height of the pandemic).
I want to pick up a second Aneros I used the online toy recommender thing on their site and the recommendation that came up based on my preferences (vigorous stimulation, solo use, non vibrating) was the Progasm.
I understand that this is going to considerably larger than what I’m currently using.
Is this too big a leap for a rookie like me? Is there something that might provide a better intermediate step?

Significant. But take it slow, plenty of lube and it will go in. Love the full feeling of the Progasm but love the flutter of the smaller Helix and MGX.
They do have a Progasm Jr version which is smaller than the Progasm and larger than the MGX in girth.
Maximus is a nice compromise if you want something slightly bigger. I have the MGX and Progasm both but I find “big G” a bit girthy for me, even after being a butt play vet. I’ve found bigger isn’t always better. I even get now what women mean when they say it’s not the size but what you do with it. I would love to try Progasm Jr, but Big G just doesn’t move inside of me, too big.
I’d definitely recommend t the Maximus Trident. It has a nice size but still has a huge range of movement. It definitely sped up my journey
