I didn’t see anywhere that the larger size is a trainer and the smaller size is more “advanced” but I have seen that in comments and reviews. Is this accurate? Why would the smaller one be more advanced?

The peredise isn’t a butt plug or a prostate massager. It’s designed to move based on the strength of your anal muscles, a smaller bulb requires more tone to effectively get it to work.
Been trying to decide on whether to get the 2 pack from Aneros or the 4 pack from their parent company. Was also curious about the Tempo. With it being stainless steel, is it heavy like a Pure Wand? Does it move as well as the peredise?
I have the double Peridise models but they never moved, should I relax muscles or should I flex hard to get some movement?
