Definitely should refrain day of, and for the next day or so. Everyone’s rewiring journey is a bit different, so it’s best to find something that works for you. But as a general rule of thumb the goal of the rewiring process is to create the neural pathways that link pleasure to prostate stimulation. So the longer you can go without penile stimulation, the more likely you are to see results.
Rewiring is a journey of self discovery, and it’s a good practice to take things one day at a time.
I’ve been at this for 10 years. I think the “never touch your penis” mindset is a little overrated. Remember though, what works for me or anyone else might not work for you. I’ve actually found that penile stimulation with the Aneros in has actually reinforced my mind-prostate connection. I do think it’s important to have prostate only sessions, but whether or not you finish the session with an ejaculation is up to you. Experiment with it. For me it just depends on my mood. I’ve found that after a week of abstaining, I get diminishing returns so I usually don’t like to go much longer than that.
