I read another post that the Helix Trident should be inserted to the spot just beyond the second bump. Is this true?

When inserted, your body will probably draw it inwards anyway. I always just push it right in and after relaxing and breathing for a while, without contractions, it will find its own way
The Helix Trident is self-inserting, so it’s drawn in and comes to rest with very little manual intervention. Fully inserted, the anal canal is in contact with the massager between the second recessed area and the area below it.
Cheers!
All bodies are different, the insertion depth will be best when the bulging portion is touching the prostate.
