Is it possible to press too hard?

I have used aneros for a long time, there’s been a few times where I have lingering pain in rectum and in prostate but I’ve never seen blood or anything.

I don’t really use aneros for prostate orgasms, I use it to clear out prostate fluid which often times makes my orgasms and erections stronger. In order to do this I use the aneros to press fairly firmly into the prostate on and off for maybe 3 minutes. I press a bit harder than you might press to check a pear for ripeness.

I am since having some issues, like pelvic pain and a bit of pain in penis, and less sensation.

It’s odd because usually when I do a prostate massage after a few days it increases sensation in my genitals.

Is it possible to press too hard and injure yourself?

  2. Aneros is designed to be used hands free, so that may be part of the issue.

To answer your question, yes, you can injure your prostate or at least make it sore from too much pressure. I don’t use the answer often, so sometimes I am a bit sore the next day if my session goes over an hour. It is nothing severe though and goes away quickly.
