For people with weak pelvic muscles, how did strengthening your pelvic floor affect your sessions?

I suspect that I might have somewhat weak pelvic muscles. I can hold a PF contraction fairly long, but it still feels pretty weak. Maybe a little tight too. Did anyone in the same situation have a noticable improvent with the aneros by doing kegels or other forms of pelvic exercise?

  2. Don’t think it’s necessarily strength , it’s about control and some stamina. Honestly the lightest contractions and movement are what are the best for me. Sometimes I even do the “do nothing” approach and my body just starts the lightest contractions itself over time. Everyone is different and you should find what’s best for you. But I’ve been working on something I read a while ago, and that is imagine griping a pencil. You don’t want to grip it too tight for too long or you wear out and it hurts. And you have to move your whole arm/hand to move it around. The mobility isn’t great. You want the lightest amount of grip to still be able to hold the pencil. Giving you good mobility and long working time.

A good easy exercise I do is stopping my stream while peeing. Just briefly. That clenching is typically way more than what I do in a session.

  3. I wasn´t able to get an HFDO for 1 year of trying and then I did shitload of kegel within 10 days and voila my first orgasm. For now I feel like the stronger the muscles, the better. But I am a rookie and over time maybe I will learn how to get there with light contractions, too.

  4. Actaully the Aneros is a great device to train and find how to flex and relax the kegel muscles so its kind of a no brainer in a way.

  5. Aneros use has significantly increased my pelvic floor strength. I’ve never had any issue with getting the aneros to trigger intense involuntary contractions though

  6. I think strength is important but control is a big deal, too. A lot of people talk about stopping the flow of urine, which is a great way to identify the right muscle groups involved. Practice kegeling for a bit on a regular basis to strengthen up. Learning control is a little different. For me, peeing without pooping is pretty easy; I think most people are the same. But can you poop without peeing? Figuring out how to do that really seemed to help me. Just a thought. Good luck. 😊
