First a PSA: Hopefully I am the only one this happened to, but when I ordered two items direct from Aneros (over $75) on Black Friday I selected one of two option for shipping: USPS first class, hoping that this would mean my purchase would arrive within a faster 1-5 biz day window for $6.50. Not only am I on day 15 (11 biz days) w/o delivery, but Aneros has been little to no help to this point.
In the single response I’ve received from Aneros, the company made a VERY revealing statement:
“We believe there may be a bit of confusion here as USPS First Class is our standard shipping option which qualifies as free for orders over $75. Since the original order is above $75, we will be refunding the $6.50 as the selection was rendered redundant by the offer of free shipping.”
I appreciate that they issued the refund, but who else may have made this error? Why is that even an option if my cart total exceeded $75? Aneros isn’t exactly a small time Etsy player here. Again, this should be an automatic function and in the age of digital retailing it makes no sense why it isn’t.
I responded in part by suggesting they look in to this. If I am the complete outlier, ok, bad on me. But this was Black Friday, I’m guessing there were A LOT of purchases as these discounts are rare. It hard to imagine that I’m the only one who made this mistake and if it happened at a large scale that could mean significant free money for the company.
Do I think they’re an unethical company? No, but I recommend you take a look to make sure you didn’t non-upgrade your shipping in error. If you did and had more than $75 at checkout, please inquire with the company.
FURTHERMORE:
I am still without my purchase. In fact the Shop app shows it’s been sitting at a North Houston warehouse since November 29.
When I emailed Aneros they responded by disputing my math on the business days. I said it was day 5 of the 1-5 days listed on THEIR website at checkout.
They told me to go read the shipping policy and claimed it was actually 5-7 days. Again, that isn’t what their checkout page said, nor does the USPS website which states clearly 1-5 days. They requested I wait until the next business day, which was Monday. Ok, fine, patients is the name of the P play game, right?
I spotted them an extra day and reached back out on Wednesday. Crickets.
It’s Friday night and the package is still in Texas. We are well beyond the 7 days they countered with. Most concerning at this point is that their shipping policy states that they are prepared to pin it on the USPS and to leave me hanging:
“Aneros cannot be held responsible for any delays that may occur after your order has left our warehouse. Aneros will help track lost shipments, but assumes no responsibility for them.”
So, Aneros has effectively ghosted me at this point.
But hey, I got $6.50 of my $83 refunded for shipping that shouldn’t have even been an available option in the first place…
I love this company and own several of their products. Not looking for a refund, just looking for my products to arrive, at the stated price at purchase, before I’m like 80 years old and having my prostate removed by a surgeon…

Sorry you haven’t received the order yet and our communication hasn’t been to your satisfaction. Send us an email at [email protected] so we can take a look at what’s happening with your specific order. We will check with the team on Monday regarding this 6.50 you shouldn’t have been charged for in the first place. I suspect when the Black Friday discount was set up something incorrect was done regarding how the free shipping and 30% could be combined. But we will look into this. The 1-5 days should be the expected delivery time when the order is shipped, which is the usually the next business day. For Black Friday it can be a day or two longer to process orders. As far as where your order is, we will try to get this sorted out with USPS. The fact that tracking shows they have it is better than them not having logged tracking at all, which is happened to many orders last year.
I ordered a Eupho, off Amazon but the seller was aneros. Something happened with the delivery and it was sent back. I did receive the product but only after it was reshipped, USPS has had problems with 3 of the last packages I have had delivered through them. All 3 were delayed. I contacted the seller through Amazon but never received a reply as to why the package was sent back or why the delivery took more time.
