Am I using the wrong Aneros? Any tips?

Hi guys! So I read about prostate orgasms about 4 years ago, and got myself an Aneros MGX to start prostate play. At first I think I was too eager and was trying to force a prostate orgasm by contracting my PC muscles over and over. Then I figured out that just relaxing and letting the Aneros kind of do its own thing was better. No big-O, but I sometimes got some great full tingly feelings in my abdomen. Usually at this point, I got excited and my heart rate increased, which could sometimes kill the feeling. Does it sound like I’m on the right track? Any tips?

Although I haven’t regularly used the Aneros in about a year (only a few times since then), I’m still eager to have a big-O and want to try it out again. I recently had some chronic soreness in my left testicle, and the doctor diagnosed me with a minor prostate infection and put me on antibiotics. He also mentioned during my exam that I had a fairly small prostate. I’m a tall guy (6’5″ and 200 pounds), but is the MGX maybe the wrong one based on having a small prostate? I’d appreciate any input. Thanks guys!

  1. It can’t hurt to try purchasing a new, different model if you can afford it

  2. Its weird, but I had the same issue of minor pain in one testical and was prescribed antibiotics by a doctor. Still a little disconcerted about this as I occasionally feel it return. I have since bought sex toy cleaner and make sure to clean the toy thoroughly with soap and hot water, followed by a spraying with sex toy cleaner before storage.

I can confirm that buying a different model can help in the journey to the coveted prostate orgasm. I only have a Helix Syn and Progasm Ice. I bought the Progasm first, but only had minor success until I purchased a Helix Syn. I think the different models help hone in on the sensations you’re looking for. I really want to try one of the new trident models, but am waiting to purchase.

My advice would be to always stick to the basics or “keys to the backdoor”. There’s a link in the sidebar, but the article comes from the aneros wiki. No matter how many articles I’ve read those simple fundamentals lead to the best sessions every time hands down.

Best of luck on your journey, and remember it IS a journey. All is happening in its time.
