  1. You probably over did it. Give it a week and things should go back to normal.

  2. I’ve found that generally soreness indicates I didn’t use enough lube. I’ve had good results from using a lube shooter (1ml or 2ml) at the beginning of a session.

  3. Moving the toy in you (which is the goal), requires you to contract your muscles (kegel and sphincter). Most likely those muscles aren’t used to that much work, so (just like after any other workout), they’re a little sore. Recovery should only take a couple of days. With practice, you can have a session without them becoming sore. You can also practice kegel exercises (google it) to strengthen them, which will increase the pleasure you can get.

    The other possibility is if you have a long session, the muscles in your prostate can also become slightly bruised, again especially if they aren’t used to it. Recovery from that normally only takes a day or two as well.
