Aneros and your anatomy

Hiya,

I have a burning question about what seems to to be many people favorite method of achieving a prostate O, which is the so called “do nothing method”.

I’ve been frustrated with this method, because it usually instructs you to completely relax, focus on your sensations and let them lead you.

Problem is, I’ve never had any. At least, not when I’m not voluntarily contracting. Whent I am relaxed, I feel no pressure against my prostate, it essentially feels like I’m wearing a small butt plug that doesn’t do much on its own. I guess my anatomy is such that the Aneros doesnt quite sit at the right spot?
However, if I angle my Progasm upwards slightly, I suddenly feel it in all its glory. The more I push it upwards, the more I feel it.

So my question is: is this what all you people who use the “do nothing” method feel when you’re just relaxing your muscles? Are you supposed to feel the Aneros actively pressing against your prostate without moving or contracting? Or am I creating something artificially that should ideally happen on its own?
I can pretty easily make it so the Progasm hits that spot on its own, by adding some padding under my perineum. But is it the right answer?

  2. >But is it the right answer?

This is the right answer. The “do nothing” method doesn’t work for everyone including myself. Whatever method you can use to get pleasure is what you should use.

  3. For me, the do nothing method is more like the “try as hard as you can to do nothing” method. The harder I try to do nothing the more involuntary contractions come. In short, doing nothing doesn’t mean nothing is moving. Because it moves a lot for me with this method

  4. I recommend you try the do nothing with the paradise, and the Eupho, they are wave makers. Maybe you are not paying attention to the very fine details. When I first purchased some Aneros devices I started with the pc muscles/mind gasm. This did a bunch of nothing for me. When I started doing nothing and purchased the paradise 🤯.

The feelings in the beginning are minuscule at best, you have to realize they are happening, relax into them, then nourish them.

  5. Isn’t the do nothing what the later sessions of mind gasm is about. In the app you learn with a toy and understand the 3 types of muscles to contract. The contracting is linked to specific sounds in the meditation music. You do this for a month and the body and mind get use to what the feeling is like. The later sessions which you have to pay for called eternal flame removes toys and works on the mind only in conjunction with the meditation music, aka achieving the do nothing process. This has worked for me but no super O’s.

  6. I always felt like I had to try angle it up too.

Once I started doing the mindgasm exercises I realised how that was the wrong way to think about it. The sensations are much subtler than the ones you get when you angle it up. Almost start like a shiver…. Def do the mindgasm exercises!

  7. Not sure if you’ve tried it but maybe change positions. I found that the recommended position of laying on my back with my feet flat did absolutely nothing for me for a long time. What did work was laying on my right side in the fetal position. It wasn’t until much later in my journey that I switched to laying on my back and found success there.

A quick tale of caution, if you lay on your side it’s easy to roll your hips under like you’re thrusting forward. This is actually awesome and will increase pressure on the prostate but it can also increase pressure on the bladder. I used to use this technique for like a year until it started really irritating my bladder to the point that I would feel it all the next day. And eventually the irritation made the sessions themselves bad. I had to unlearn to roll my hips and I switched to laying on my back as I mentioned above and now everything is gravy. So you can use the hip thrust as a way to help stimulate the prostate more, but you may find that after a while you’ll need to back off from this.

  8. For me, do nothing forced me to really focus on my breathing and not my prostate. The more I do breath work and just relax the more aroused I become over time. I will allow my hands to caress my body and eventually my nipples in the rhythm of the breath. Usually at this point (about an hour in) my prostate is fully awake, my body is tingling, my breath is heightened, and I am ready to experience the waves of pleasure
