Vice 2 Cleaning

Recently purchased the Vice 2 and I’m loving it so far.

I did run into an issue while cleaning it. The device seems to hold a smell that I can’t get rid of.

After my last session, I immediately washed with anti-bacterial toy cleaner (Fleshlight Fleshwash), followed by another wash with dawn dish soap and hot water.

The toy continued to have this faint foul smell.

Today, i took a clorox bleach wipe and wiped it down very well. This seemed to help a little but it still has the faintest bit of smell on it.

Any suggestions for what else I could try?

Is this normal with the vice 2?

Ive purchased the Aneros Prelude and have been taking Metamucil to ensure I get really clean before my next session.

This is definitely is a buzzkill and takes away from the experience.

  2. I use liquid dial antibacterial soap on mine, it either eliminates the odor or masks it

  3. I use self made “Natural jelly” lube for all my toys including the syn Aneros models during sessions. It consists of almond oil, unrefined shea butter and beeswax. I’m grateful for Rumel for sharing it on the Aneros forum.

This works as a prevention for the silicon to stay odourless, because it creates a protective layer on the surface. After using the Natural jelly for a year now I can say my lube is completely safe to use with silocone, there is no sign of any degradation on the surface, and I can only smell a faint sweet honey like fragrance on the toys, even if I put them close to my nose.

I presume almond oil maybe other plant based oils could be be used to remove the smell from your vice 2 if you would scrub it with it.

  4. Buy a bottle of Toy Life, misting toy cleaner from Amazon or Walmart online. I spray the silicone models when done & don’t wash it off till just before using the next time. It never hurt mine. I only use it when they smell bad!

  5. I drop my toys in the sink

submerge in hot water (just sink-hot not boiling, boiling will damage your electronic toys)

add a couple of tablespoons of baking soda on top of the toys (don’t stir the water so the baking soda stays in contact with the toys or at least near them)

then add a couple drops of Dawn dishwashing liquid

    then leave it overnight

Usually by the next day they’re good to go.
