Starting Over – New Lessons

For a long time, I had been wanting to go back to using the Peridise, and Helix Trident to try and achieve anal, prostate, and other pleasurable sensations. Unfortunately, an anal injury had been making this impossible. Over the span of a years, I consciously took steps to heal my injuries, improve my anal health, and gradually re-train my body to accept things into my anus. This was a long process, with many setbacks, pitfalls, struggles, and eventually small successes. It is so rewarding to finally be able to use my anus again for both pleasure, and function.

As a refresher, I read through a lot of the forum posts. The knowledge with the stickied posts, as well as other more recent users’ comments were really vital in starting up my training again. Folks in the chatroom were extremely kind, and helpful with their posts. Armed with new information, and classic knowledge, I felt ready to try out my Aneros again.

For the first few sessions, I limited the time to 60 to 90 minutes. My body was still getting reacquainted with having objects inside my anus, and flexing all of the various muscles around there. In the past, lying on my left side was successful with the Peridise, so that is the position in which I started. With plenty of lubrication, I would relax with deep breathing, and slowly slide the Aneros bit by bit into my anus. My past practice with much smaller objects helped tremendously, and helped me succeed in getting the Aneros inside. With a few gentle contractions, it would slide into place. While my body adjusted to having a guest inside it, I would very gently practice contractions, or adjust soft, steady pressure. Usually after 20 minutes, I could feel the device moving into where it needed to be, and the pressure on my prostate, bladder, and perineum felt good.

Too Much Bladder Pressure?

Started out with usual routine prep time, with a little extra bit of flex training to try and tire out the muscles beforehand. They were definitely a bit fatigued when starting up with the Peridise. It went in smoothly up to the last nub again, which rested half in and half out, like previous times. Once I had stopped conscious contractions of my anal muscles, there were a few bouts of involuntary ones, and some interesting movements.

However, in this round of “do nothing,” I was interesting in trying to figure out if I needed to have the device in deeper for it to have its full effect. So with a gentle nudge, it went into my anus up to the hilt, with the tabs nuzzled against my outer anus. A few contractions to make sure it stayed there, then I went back to doing nothing, for the most part. For the first half hour, I could feel increased blood flow / my heartbeat in my anus and behind my testicles. There wasn’t really much else going on, aside from the occasional involuntary movement of the device inside me. After about 40 minutes, a gradual feeling of needing to urinate started. Over the next 10 minutes, it got to the point where I really felt like I needed to urinate, even though I did so before starting the session. I tried to breathe through it, but it eventually got to the point where the hour was up, and I had to pee. Walking with the device in was interesting, as was trying to pee with it inside me.

Slow and Steady

Started out with warm, relax, flex, lube as usual. My anus was really enjoying my finger being in there for lubing purposes, so the Peridise went in smoothly. Stayed on my back a little while, doing deep breathing techniques and some gentle anal flexing to get the device into place. Again, it got up to the last bulb, half in and half out of my anus. Decided to keep it there, but did a few more extra gentle contractions while on my back to see if it would go in any further. The movement of the device inside my anus felt good, but it remained in the same position. Was tempted to stay on my back, but rolled onto my right side, as I’ve been having luck with that position lately.

This time with the “do nothing” approach, some slight movements stimulated my scrotum into pulling my testicles much closer to my body, which felt good. Worked on some half-contractions to try and tire my anal muscles out; a poster on the forums mentioned doing this to exhaust the muscles and tricking them into involuntaries. Although I never reached the exhaustion point, the conscious movements felt sweet moving around inside my anus, and there were occasional involuntary spasms that sent shivers through my groin area. These were few and far between, but when they happened, they were nice. Precum was steadily leaking out of the tip of my penis, and the pressure on my prostate wasn’t the same as last session, but it was a little more gradual of a build. Will try to get the Peridise all the way in to the hilt next time, to see if this makes a difference in how it works inside me.

Calm Blue Ocean

Started out with what is the usual routine now – warm, relax, flex, lube. Getting the Peridise in place was easy, as my body has been craving it all day. At certain times earlier, I could feel an almost purring or thrumming inside the space between the base of my scrotum and my anus. Could be my prostate? Hard to know. It was a subtle vibration, in some ways, and it felt good. When my body pulled the device in on its own accord, it took it in up to the last bulb, where the last nub stayed half in, half out of my anus. Gentle contractions didn’t pull it in any more than that, so I decided to keep it in that position unless my body pulled it in further.

Again tried the “do nothing” approach. I didn’t get the same sweet feeling inside my anal / prostate / scrotum region, but in relaxing, I could feel my body sometimes making involuntary movements with the device. I could feel it gently moving a bit here and there, and it felt good. As I let my body relax throughout the session, even though the device wasn’t moving much (at least consciously?), I felt a gradual increase of pressure on my prostate. It engorged with seminal fluid, and I could feel the pressure building inside. Mostly my penis remained flaccid, but with that pressure, more precum started leaking out the tip. At times, I was incredibly tempted to start conscious muscle contractions, but fought the idea away and tried to stay relaxed. The mounting pressure in my prostate was amazing, and it was craving release. At the end of the session, my body reluctantly gave up the Peridise, and released a significant amount of precum throughout.

Extended Practice Time

Warmed up the room, used low light to encourage relaxation, and got everything I needed for a session laid out. After some relaxation breathing, anal muscle flexing, and setting up some calm background music, I was ready and eager to start.

My body eagerly took in the device, much like last time. Although I started on my back to let my anus pull the device all the way in, I soon rolled onto my right side to try out the traditional Aneros position – lower leg straight, upper leg towards chest – as last time it provided nice sensations. The last bulb was again right on the cusp of bring out and in, so this time I gently nudged it all the way in to the hilt.

Following some advice on an archived post on the forums, I tried a “newbie do nothing” approach at first to see where it would take me. According to the post, the first half hour was to let my body and mind relax, and forget the Peridise was even inside me. The music and breathing exercise helped me calm, and for the most part I could barely feel the device. After around fifteen minutes of not much of anything, I could feel something going on in my inner anus, behind my testicles, and very slightly on the underside of my scrotum. It’s hard to describe; it was like a very vague, gentle throb that was accompanied by sweet feelings centered around that whole area. It lasted around a minute or so, then subsided. I kept trying to stay relaxed, and after five or so more minutes, it happened again, for about the same duration. Around ten minutes after that, it happened again, but for a very slightly longer duration. It felt great, and at no point did I get an erection, but my scrotum definitely reacted, by pulling my testicles closer to my body and getting stiffer on the surface.

Experiments & Hypotheses

Turned the heat up higher than usual, kept the bedroom nice and warm so that I wouldn’t have to worry about clothes, covers, or chills. Did some yoga breathing, then added gentle flexing and relaxing of anal muscles with them. No precum yet, but my body was relaxed and ready – been looking forward to this since the last session.

Used the same amount of lube and massaged some in, then put a layer on the device. My body was eager to take it in; it pulled it in to the first bulb with little resistance. With some gentle muscle movements, eventually it slid in just on the cusp of the last bulb, which stayed half inside and half outside of my outer sphincter. Started out on my back again, with legs bent, and small movements and contractions felt good. Squatted for a while again, which had a similar effect as last time, kind of encouraging my anus, inner sphincter, and rectum to wake up. Tried lying with my legs up at a right angle, resting on a cushion (a forum user really likes this position with the Peridise), but after a while of trying it out, it really wasn’t doing much for me.

Excited to Keep Going

Before starting tonight, I made sure the bedroom was warm and the lights were low. Sat a while with eyes closed and just breathed deeply. After a bit, started gently flexing anal muscles in sync with breathing, taking a break a few breaths, then repeating. By the time I felt ready for the session, I was already leaking precum – a good sign!

Massaged lube in and around anus; was so relaxed and ready that the devise slid right in. My body practically devoured it; it really wanted it inside me. Barely had to flex anal muscles to bring the device into position, but still took some time to do gentle contractions and relaxations. Started out on back with legs bent in a comfortable position – contractions made movements inside my anus that felt good. Tried lying flat out on back again with the same result; more pressure on prostate and sweet feelings in my gut. Decided to try squatting for a while, and surprisingly, it seemed to really wake up my anus / anal canal / muscles a lot. Could feel the device moving very slightly on it own, and whole area being stimulated. Went back to lying down with legs bent, and it was like my body had activated itself. Had some involuntary anal spasms that felt wonderful. At times it felt like the device was going all the way in and all the way out, but feeling with my fingers, it was barely moving.

In the Right Direction

Same startup as last few sessions – preparing beforehand is really helpful for relaxing and training. Anus still getting used to the device, but it’s getting easier with practice. Gently contracted anal muscles to draw the device in, and it went in all the way on its own. Attributing this to breathing, relaxing, and gentle muscle movements.

Started out on back with legs bent, but tried a few new positions. Lying down completely flat – contractions caused a little more pressure on my prostate and more perceptible movements inside my anal canal; felt really good. Tried seated with legs bent – put much more pressure on my prostate, but it felt like it was more difficult to get the device to move around due to being seated; was nice and will try it again. On all fours face-down allowed for easier breathing, but didn’t bring any better movements into play. Session went a little longer than before, and scrotum, testicles, and anus were all definitely stimulated, had increased blood flow, and felt great. Penis remained flaccid, but prostate significantly enlarged with seminal fluid again. Plenty of precum produced and mild ache most likely due to pressure of the fluid build-up without total release. No masturbating; no orgasm.

Mostly device stayed all the way in, but when last bulb remained out of body, the movements felt more effective on stimulating my body. Will work on keeping it out a little with inner muscles. Body still reluctant to give up the device, but it did slide out a little easier than before. Honestly, I wanted to keep it inside me and keep going, too. Baby steps.

Baby Steps

Started the same way as last session – relax, contractions, lubricate. On back, deep breaths, anal massage, introduce device. Anus was slightly more accepting than last time, but it was still slightly challenging. Gently contracted anal muscles to slowly draw the device in, which it did much like last time, but more reluctantly. This might have been due to using more lubrication than before. Will consider amount next time and adjust accordingly.

Gentle, gradual contractions, then release, felt good. could feel the same gentle stimulation around my scrotum, testicles, and this time, anus. Penis remained mostly flaccid, but sexual arousal was quietly simmering in the background. Went a little longer on time to see if I got any additional effects or different sensations – this time, it was more of the same, but nothing new. Minuscule movements of the device felt good – purely using my sphincter muscles. Again, body didn’t want to give up the device. It’s like once it’s locked in place, my body wants it to be part of my body permanently. Gradually used breathing and relaxing to get it out again. Anus felt normal. Same amount of precum produced as last time, and definitely could feel prostate stimulation / “fullness” – especially when pressing on perineum. Again, did not masturbate, did not orgasm.

Wondering about device placement – how far in is a supposed to go? Past the last bulb? Leave the last bulb out? will ask on the forums and see what people have experienced themselves. Still feeling things out, but definitely want to keep going.

Starting Again

Two years ago, I bought the set of four Peridise massagers with the full intention of using them for anal health, pleasure, and prostate stimulation. In my first session back then, I used the second-smallest Peridise. Against all reason, I decided to go to town. Lots of flexing, breathing, and clenching for an hour and a half. It felt good at the time, but the next day, there were awful health repercussions – they were horrific enough that I gave up on any anal use at all; outside of normal bodily functions. It was a bit crushing, as previously, my anus had been a source of great pleasures.

Fast-forward to now. Taking a lot of advice to heart, I decided to go slow in reclaiming my body. For the past year, I’ve been gently reintroducing my anus to stimulation and penetration using my finger or small, smooth toys. Finally, I felt like I was ready to try the Peridise again. It was really nerve-wracking at first, but using yoga breathing techniques helped keep my body and mind at ease.

Read up on the Aneros forums about how to use the Peridise – supposed to start with the largest size, and work your way down as you tone your anal muscles. It looked small enough. Followed the directions in the box (relax, practice contractions with no device in, then lubricate). Used a gloved finger to apply ID brand lube (an old favorite) to outer anus, massaged some around, then eventually inside. Applied generous amount to bulb on largest Peridise, then all over the shaft.
