Small Victories, or Wishful Thinking?

Hello guys, I (23M) decided to get myself a Helix Syn as a graduation present. I got it in the mail yesterday. I’ve been reading about prostate orgasms and Aneros toys for several years, and I am so excited to be starting this journey!

When I got the package, I cleaned myself up, lubed up internally with some coconut oil, and popped the Aneros in. It felt great and I kept it in for several hours while I studied for finals and did some other chores. Before I went to bed, I relubed and spent some time really focusing on the feeling of it in my hole. I was listening to a nice relaxing song on repeat, and lightly contracting my PC muscles (Base flex, for you Mindgasm nerds). I kept it contracted at maybe 40% while focusing on my breathing. After maybe 30 or 45 seconds, I could feel the muscles twitching and felt kind of warm and a little dizzy all over. I held it for as long as I could before having to relax the contraction. I was able to do that one or two more times, but at that point I think I started trying too hard and couldn’t make it happen again.

So, my question is, are those “twitching” muscle feelings what you guys call “involuntaries”? And was that kind of warm/dizzy sensation a P-wave? Or am I just too hopeful for early success and misinterpreting fairly benign sensations as something more?

What am I doing wrong?

I purchased the Aneros Helix Sun Trident almost 10yrs ago and I’ve tried it maybe a total of 15 times always with high hopes and I’ve gotten minimal results almost everytime. I’ve relaxed and given myself space and time, used my muscles to work it back n forth, kept it in for about an Hr., even used it during piv sex and still nothing seems to give me anything mind blowing. I’ll even add when I stimulate my perineum I get an amazing result maybe not mind blowing but on the cusps of it. I’ve even tried prostate massages with partners finger and that feels better than the aneros but still not as powerful as the perineum massage and not mind blowing.

I do orgasm from masturbation and having something inserted gives a slight bit of pressure which feels better but I feel like I’m missing out on something with this. Does it sound like I just need to try something bigger or is my technique wrong?

Hi, new here! Just purchased my first aneros. I need some advice.

I’ve been practicing Aneros use for a few years now, and figuring it all out. Mid-2022 I began noticing that I wasn’t actually fully relaxing, even though I would practice the “Do nothing” approach, I wasn’t actually doing nothing. Even while relaxed I would be subconsciously holding a very light contraction the whole time. Once the pleasure would begin, I would totally take over again and be clenching an tensing to try to force the pleasure to grow, only tiring myself out.

A huge leap forward for me was when I began to just try to breath through everything, deep breaths into my belly, so that my stomach rises up. Even actively pushing my belly muscles up. This would free up the important muscles below to do their own thing and huge pleasure would grow. However, when it gets intense, I would still take over and do contractions and end up chasing the pleasure away.

The practice of Aneros for me at the moment is to have discipline and actively try to relax any muscle contractions, no matter how good everything feels. To keep breathing deeply through everything and constantly letting everything be fully relaxed. If a muscle tenses, I try to release it as much as possible. This makes everything insanely intense as it is. So pushing that further and further is my gameplan.

My heart was beating so fast I couldn’t sleep for an hour afterwards

So I’ve been experimenting with the Aneros for a few weeks now and it’s been interesting to say the least.

When I feel like I’m getting somewhere I start to play with my nipples and that gets my groin area feeling warm and tingly and my heart starts to beat faster. I’ve got to this stage a few times but it never really goes any further, despite me trying to relax into the feeling without changing what I’m doing. Anyway, my main issue is that last night I got to the part where my heart was pounding and it got more and more intense to the point I was worried I might have a heart attack. I’m 35 male and in relatively good shape but my heart felt like it was going to jump out of my chest. Regardless, the feelings going on downstairs felt great so I cracked on. It didn’t go any further so I took the toy out, cleaned up, and tried to go to sleep. But my heart would not stop pounding. Is this normal? And if so is the pounding heart feeling what comes before a super-O or something? I have mild hypochondria and have always worried about my heart so am just after some clarification that this is normal, and if so am I on the right track?? Any input appreciated

I’ve been experimenting with different aneros toys for about 7 months. I always have some solid results usually, but like most I had been “peaking” and not been able to produce much other than some good feelings.

I have tried different versions, owning the programs jr, eupho, MGX, and Maximus. Recently I had been rotating between the Maximus and programs jr with ok results.

Until yesterday when I decided to use the eupho for the first time in a few months…

I started my session as I always do. Took an edible, cleaned up, and then waited about an hour to let the edible kick in.

Lubed up, inserted my eupho, and for whatever reason something felt different. I still am not sure why.

I layed on my bed on my back with a small pillow under my lower back, with another larger pillow supporting my legs up in the air.

I focused on breathing slowly. Counting in 6 seconds, exhaling 6 seconds. I tried to relax fully and tried to not contract any muscles down there.

Within 15 minutes I was feeling an extreme “fullness” and “pressure” around my prostate. This has happened before, but usually it flies away. This was constant. I tried to focus on it. I know many are against using porn, but I decided to turn on some while this was happening.

Full body shaking distracting from continuing?

Ive made some incredible progress over the last year after giving the Aneros a second chance. I really had to learn how to relax, and focus on what I’m feeling and not expect anything like a penis orgasm. Ive gotten to a point where my sessions go pretty much the same, I insert my aneros and just relax. Usually within 10-15 minutes the aneros starts moving on its own a little, and I begin to feel warmth. Sometimes this warmth is very intense, but goes away quickly. And then my body starts to move on its own, first at the hips, and then my stomach. This gains intensity rapidly, to the point my entire body begins to shake very strongly. For a split second it feels amazing, but the shaking seems to “shake away” feeling of pleasure, and I’m just left with strong movements that go away after a minute or two. It’s pretty amazing and kinda neat because I can’t really stop the shaking when it starts, but I feel like its sending me down to wrong path, and there’s a lot more pleasure to be had.
Has anyone experienced this? And if so do you have any tips on how to get past the shaking without losing the focus and intense pleasure that’s there just moments before?

Asleep during first HFO…

So I’ve been using Helix/Progasm a while without much joy other than occasional increases in heart rate. I read something yesterday about using the helix ‘inverted’ so I thought I’d try it! Well bugger me after trying to relax for an hour or so as I drifted off I had my first full HFO. The only other results I’ve had previously were also as I was drifting off. Clearly some part of my conscious is either blocking progress or I’m not relaxed enough. Any recommendations for relaxing? Tried breathing & meditation etc. Illegal drugs inc week are not an option for me… TIA.

Indirect p-stimulation

In case you missed the wiki, prostate stimulation should be done gently and it takes time to feel the sensations and orgasm. This may seem frustrating to beginners, so I’m happy to present an alternative method for gently stimulating your p-spot.

This works best if you have a small/narrow massager like the helix or eupho. You want something that flexes a bit and just rubs the p-spot. You don’t want to feel like a stuffed turkey for this method.

Use plenty of line, then insert the massager. Place a pilow under your buttocks to lift it off the bed. Lay back and relax. Bend your knees to a comfortable position if desired.

To indirectly stimulate your p-spot, you want to gently press the *soft spot* above your pubic bone. You can press a little and jiggle it like jelly, it even light push and pull. This puts a little bit of pressure on your bladder, which in turns presses your prostate against the massager. Find the pressure that works for you, but in general less pressure gives more prostate sensation and your legs will feel like jelly.

I can get an erection in less than a minute with this trick and orgasm like crazy.

Aneros harness

Used to not be much of an issue, but now with relaxing more and using better lubes sometimes the massager is pushed out. Happens more often with the smaller models, but even happens with Progasam sometimes and it is distracting since it generally happens at the worst time.

I have used a rag over it then underwear pulled up tight, but that is not the best and restricts movement. Those of you that have made some kind of harness or come up with other ways to keep it in can you share.

I was thinking that some kind of harness with elastic straps might be great because it will allow it to push out some which is always the spot that feels best and then it will get pushed back in.
