Sometimes I still on it such that the button may have gotten pushed down really hard at some point. I don’t know how to go about diagnosing the problem on my own/fixing it. Anyone have any tips or recommendations regarding talking to customer service?

contacted support and got this very helpful message early the next morning–

Vibrating, electrical Aneros products carry a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. The customer can send us the defective item in exchange for a replacement.
Please fill out the attached Warranty Claim Form, sign the bottom, and send it back to us with your product.
When we receive your defective device, we will ship a replacement to you.
