I’ve read that just starting out you should always go smaller. Looking at the aneros it looks like it’s pretty large, has anyone used it as a beginner. Is it a good beginners toy?

The Aneros come in many different sizes. The smaller ones are the Helix Syn or the MGX. ITs not particularily large, and for a first timer it should be relatively easy to insert. Just use a lot of lube and it will slip in. After a few times you wont even worry about it.
I got the Helix as my first prostate toy. Took a few sessions to get accustomed to something in my butt.
I bought a Helix Syn as my first toy and it really was no big deal to insert at all. I also find that that smaller end of the NJoy Pure Wand goes in really easily too. The larger end is a whole different proposition. Still haven’t managed to get that thing in.
