What does a p-wave actually feel like?

Still a beginner, had a handful of sessions now. Still unclear on exactly what a p-wave and involuntary feels like. I have a Helix, but don’t actually feel very much when it’s in me. I cannot tell whether it’s actually making contact with my prostate. I’m not sure if the mild pleasure I can eventually reach is from prostate stimulation, or just getting in the mood, breathing pattern, and clenching.

I do sometimes get a little pulsing feeling that doesn’t feel like the Helix is moving or feel it against my prostate, but feels more like I can sense my pulse right on my butthole. Is that anything?

I can get to some voluntary quivering of my body, but I’m not sure if I’m on the right track. I see lots of people talking about p-waves and involuntaries, but what should they actually feel like? How much movement does an involuntary actually have?

  1. IMO, the p-wave is a wave of pleasure. Perhaps the Super-O is nothing but a p-wave. The pulse you feel is a good sign. Try not to over do it with your sessions. My involuntary (A-less) are a strong as my Aneros sessions. My A-less during PIV are strong as well.

My involuntary contractions involve a lot of movement. My body shakes and quivers. This has always been part of my journey. I feel too many try suppress the shakes and quivers. I do not initiate my A-less. I let the A-less find me. I have experienced orgasmic waves that have lasted 45-60 minutes.

Hopefully you will have a good experience. Don’t obsess over getting a Super-O or get caught up in the nomenclature of waves, spasms, ‘gasms, etc. Have your own experience, don’t over analyze it, and enjoy yourself.

  2. A P-Wave feels like chills running across your body. These chills generally have a feeling of pleasure which can be just a light buzz to take your breath away. Sometimes I feel the wave start at my feet and work its way up and over my body, other times (and more often) I feel it start from my prostate and expand outward.

Every prostate orgasm I’ve had has included a P-wave, there’s just more going on in addition to that p-wave as you move into orgasms. Its possible I’m mis-categorizing these p-waves as mini-o’s, but it’s how I perceive it. Hope it helps.

  3. From my experience, P-wave feels like the chills you get you’re afraid of heights.
