Since im a beginner and still on my way to rewire i masturbate after a session, because my sessions dont result into an prostate orgasm. Is this counterproductive since i get back to the urge of penile stimulation?

I always ended a session by jerking off at the end with the aneros still in. Still do. Didn’t seem to hurt my process at all.
I actually found it helped if anything – but i’m of the firm opinion that rewiring is just as much about getting a better feel for how your body responds to penile stimulation. That way, you become far more in control of the result and can really start to separate the orgasm response from the ejaculation reflex. I did find it very helpful to use techniques that aimed to retain the semen and avoid refractory period. A big part of this for me has been getting out of the cycle of building sexual frustration and tension and craving the ejaculatory release of it.
That said, I came from a starting position of having some very bad masturbation habits that I got into in my teens (prone position, over stimulation, rushing, over focus on ejaculating as the end goal). I had a lot I needed to learn before I could start making the most of prostate play.
I practice semen retention. So ifI do masturbateI simply edge a bit. But my goals are MMOs and Super-Os. Not ejaculating keeps my arousal level high.
i almost always end a session with a penile orgasm, via maturbation, sex, or my favorite is a nice slow edging handjob from my wife. The hardest I’ve ever cum is from the handjob with aneros inserted.
