“Male Chastity: Why Do I Do It?”

[This blog was inspired by @SOwithoutAneros]

@SOwithoutAneros has taken the chastity “plunge” with a CB-6000! And that fact brought back memories of my foray in the world of male chastity cages. I eventually bought a genuine CB-6000S which I wore for months. I generally did not wear it at night when NPTs are prevalent; rather, during the day including out in public. I did wear it through some very arousing erections, just as an experiment. While wearing it, you have to be prepared. It will be difficult to remove the cage until you are soft again. So there is a kind of “point of no return” while wearing it.

I had eventually switched from a chastity cage to a “chastity cup” and although the basic concept remains the same, the way they feel is entirely different. The cups are designed to prevent masturbation and although the cage does the same thing, a cage is designed to prevent erection. Thus, the feeling that an erection gives is different while wearing a cage than a cup. As I remember, I could “feel” the erection deep in my groin to the base of the penis. Not so much so while wearing a cup. Which one do I prefer? In all honesty, wearing a close-fitting “cage” is the real-deal in male chastity! Wearing a “cup” is, just, different. While the intent is the same (masturbation and ejaculation control), the physical restraint is different.

Wearing a properly-fitting cage takes time and once fitted, it is virtually impossible to remove it without a key. I have owned several different types of cages over the years and most of them allowed me to “escape” — not that I wanted to, but they were not secure enough. Eventually, I settled on a “genuine” CB-6000S which is designed with multiple-sized parts to give a custom, individual fit. Eventually, I wore it for perhaps 12-16 hours a day, only removing it at night to sleep and to shower. All other times of the day, I peed in it (sitting down of course) and went out shopping in it. Nobody but me knew that I had it on. I did not wear it while swimming.

In the “Kept For Her” website, this FAQ entry piqued my interest:

“After a few months, the CB will be a normal part of your lifestyle. Both physically and mentally you will become accustomed to it to the point where when it is taken off you will look forward to getting it put back on again.”

I now find this to be true when I am wearing a “chastity cup” to bed most nights. I have slept without one for a week at a time but in all honesty, I look forward to wearing one again before I retire for the night. (I am wearing my Safe-T-Gard Cage Cup as I type). There is a comforting, albeit arousing feeling knowing that I cannot readily touch myself to masturbate and ejaculate. And that is the essence of chastity, after all! Touche’.

PS Male Chastity and Semen Retention
I did not mention it, but the practice of wearing a chastity cage or cup is a sure-fire way to also incorporate semen retention (SR). I practice SR all the time now, in conjunction with my wearing chastity cups. Since I do not experience really arousing erections during the day, I find that I do not usually have to wear a cup most days, only at night. That works out well for me and my practice of male chastity. I am much more likely to want to masturbate/ejaculate at night during an NPT erection than during the day. It is also during those times that I like to have a therapeutic Aneros session.
