Just had my first session. Pleasurable but not sure I felt the right sensations or not. Am I on the right track?

I bought a Helix Trident and used it for the first time tonight. It’s the first time I’ve ever done any sort of anal or prostate play. I just had the urge, and I’m glad I splurged a bit. But considering I’m new, I wanted to see if I’m on the right track. I tried my best to follow the tips I’ve seen online.

I started by taking a warm shower to try and relax a bit. Once I was all clean, I laid down in bed and did some breathing exercises. I then watched some porn for 15 minutes or so and stroked myself a bit to get extra turned on while still focusing on breathing and making sure I’m relaxed.

After 15 minutes or so, I lubed up the Aneros as well as my asshole. I gently rubbed my asshole and fingered it slightly before slowly inserting the toy. It was a brand new feeling for me but I tried to breathe and just focus on the sensation. Once it was in, my asshole began to contract involuntarily, maybe once every 10-15 seconds or so, like I was flexing my PC or sphincter muscles or whatever. It was a nice feeling, though I didn’t get the urge to pee right away like some people say.

I laid there and focused and the feelings and breathing and listening to erotic ASMR to stay turned on. I felt turned on though I did not maintain an erection. But I did play with my nipples a bit. It felt good, with those contractions continuing and an occasional warm feeling in my groin sort of waving to the surface. I had a slight urge to pee at certain points, it felt like.

After 15 minutes or so I began to flex my PC/sphincter muscles. I can’t figure out how to control them separately yet unless I’m pushing my sphincter, essentially. But that didn’t feel as good as flexing my PC muscles. It basically felt the same as those contractions but I tried to slowly build up my flexing, if that makes sense. A few times my legs and ass began to shake, but I’m not sure if that was due to muscle strain or another reason. But it was pleasurable and I did moan. Definitely was not an orgasm, though.

That happened a few times, but it sort of died down over time and I couldn’t quite get back there. And I couldn’t figure out how to take those feelings to the next level. So at that point I cheated a bit and started playing with my dick while also flexing my muscles a bit. Felt good but more like standard masturbation, just heightened. I eventually came, a larger and longer orgasm than I normally have. I also had a lot of precum coming out of me the whole time, even when I was softer.

Am I on the right track? Was I feeling what I was supposed to be feeling? Does it sound like my prostate was being stimulated? Any tips for my second go around? I’d love to experience some dry orgasms, p waves and Super Os down the line but I know it’ll take time.

  1. Bravo! For a first session, these are very good results. The erection is not necessary for prostatic orgasms and it is normal not to have one. During my sessions, I am sometimes hard and sometimes flaccid, it doesn’t matter. The most important parameters for me are relaxation, abdominal breathing, having the good lube and, of course, not having expectations (that’s the hardest part…). Just try to accept and enjoy the sensations that come. Good luck!

  2. I would say that you’re on the right path. The Aneros models are, as I understand it, training wheels of sorts to find and awaken your prostate to these sensations. There are some who learn such control over their muscle groups that they can have A-less orgasms(Aneros-Less) whenever they concentrate and do the contractions.

Whatever keeps you aroused helps in my book, especially in the beginning stages. So don’t feel like your cheating by stroking. It sounds like you finished up with a Super-T(Super Traditional orgasm), which is a good way to get a feel for the muscle groups involved there, and also had some p-waves(waves of pleasure stemming from the prostate).

If I were to suggest any techniques, it would be to practice your kegels as much as possible(with AND without the Aneros in), and while you have it inserted, hold the kegel (as if you’re trying to pull it inside) as long as you can, repeatedly. There are exercises you can practice that use repetitions of clenching and release in sets that progressively get longer as well, if you prefer. Once your sphincters get tired, it can lead to some nice involuntaries. Meditation helps too, if you can. Try as many positions(like standing or walking around with it in) as you can think of to see if they provide better results. Other than that, do your best to not have expectations of ejaculation, just focus on the pleasure the Aneros brings you.

Oh, and I definitely recommend continuing the nipple play. In my experience, the more you do it, the more sensations it brings. It’s as if there’s a direct nerve connection to the prostate.

Welcome to the Journey to the Super-O! Hope you enjoy the ride. 😉

  3. Sounds like you’re on the right track for sure. Some people don’t even feel anything their first few times 🙂
