Progress questions

Hello fellow explorers!

I’ve been messing aroung with my Aneros Maximus Trident for about a year now with mixed results. I think I’ve had a few P-waves in that time and I think no involuntaries, but I’m unclear on how far along I am. Definitely no super-O but I’ve felt like I was on the verge of it a few times.

My sessions are typically several hours which are usually “medium eventful” but there is lots of down time between high points. I’ve had the most success with the “do completely nothing” approach, but the success I’ve had feels more related to my heart beat brushing the device against the prostate rather than any device-related movement. In fact today I generated very similar effects (to a point) without the aneros in at all (up to step 5 below).

I’ve been using lots of coconut oil recently, but I’m not sure if this is really better or worse than the water-based lube I have tried in the past. The device seems to not move after a certain point (even after re-applying).

#### Here’s a list of what I’ve tried so far:

1. Light PC muscle “hold” (30-50%) as long as possible.
* Muscles never seem to tire here or I forget about it over time.

2. Light PC muscle hold and light bear down (push out) with sphincter.
* This seems to help push the device directly onto the prostate and hold it there in some situations, but reduces movement.

2. Aggressive clenching with CaveOfMystery method
* Tried this initially, but I think of it as a last resort now once “warmed up”

3. Do Nothing (literally nothing)
* This works reasonably well, and I get places, but the peaks are few and far between.

4. Different lubes.

5. Edging before hand (may have helped?)

#### Here’s a description of the “phases” I think I’ve experienced:

1. Sensation of “wetness” in the prostate area. Feels like you have to pee or like a small pool of water inside you that somehow feels good-ish. This starts nearly immediately after device insertion after learning to recognize the sensation.

2. Pleasure changes character from “weird” to “real pleasure” as device strokes this spot. Feels like the wetness is working its way up your penis. Sometimes leaking starts here.

**These first two steps occur semi-frequently, but getting to step 3/4 occurs very infrequently**

3. Pleasure changes to a tingling or buzzing in the prostate area and the prostate seems to “grow” or become more pronounced. Pleasure is gone at this stage and it is just weird buzzing/tingling.

4. Device rubs this buzzing area until the rubbing becomes pleasurable again.

5. Penis starts to get hard and prostate seems to be engorged at this point. Often lose track of the prostate rub sensation at this point as it is clouded by erection pleasure.

**This is the point where I have reached without the device inserted**

6. Penis hard now and can start to feel rubbing on buzzing spot again.

**Very rare to get beyond this point**

7. Focussing on the rubbing turns it pleasurable again, dick may get soft briefly

8. Pleasure builds and spreads out over lower butt area?

**Once or twice only on step 9**

9. Penis gets very hard and may feel like a dry orgasm. Feels like ejaculate is working its way up the shaft (like leaking) but with mini penis-head contractions like when flexing PC muscles with erection.

10. Usually return to step 2 or 3 after maximum is reached (whichever step that was).

This is as far as I’ve gotten. I believe step 9 is a true P-wave and I can often feel like there is something beyond but getting that far is so rare I haven’t had much chance to experiment with it. As far as I know there are no involuntaries involved in these steps and many don’t involve motion of the device after about 1 hour into the session (breathing/heartbeat/relaxation seems to bring on steps 3-9 if I’m lucky).

Any advice on where I am at or how to proceed? It may be that the Maximus is too big, but I feel like if I could master the muscle movements I could at least trigger the motion the device is supposed to produce.

  1. There are no muscle movements to master. It’s all about relaxation and being submissive/passive to the experience. Over use of Kegels will cause issues with true involuntary contractions. Kegels cause too much tension in the pelvic floor. Too much tension is no good for tge Super O.

  2. To be clear, when I say dry orgasm in step 9, it’s nowhere near what others have described as a super-O. It feels great, but not in any way urgent, and there are no muscle spasms.

  3. Try to learn to not expect anything. That is the key. I appreciate the questions but it is counterproductive. Relax, exercise your pelvic muscles and learn to not expect anything. You are only a year in, you need to learn to exercise your pelvic muscles and relaxation is key.
