Relatively new aneros user here, have owned it for awhle just havent used it much. I have been looking into different lubes for the aneros (Mine is the helix syn) and one of the most prominent ones I have found on the forums and what not is shea butter, so needless to say i have some questions about it before i go using it.
Is it safe?
What’s it like compared to water based lube?
What’s the cleanup process like?
How long does it last?
How does applying it to the aneros work compared to water based lube?
If I do end up buying it, what are some things I should know about it, and where is the most common place *to* buy it without raising suspicions or anything.

I think because it’s oil based, it’s may not be good for your silicone toy. You might want to do some research in that direction. I was also thinking about trying a ‘butter’ based product, but here’s the thing – if it comes in a wide mouth container, you have to dip your hand in it to get the product out, and I can see that being unclean, unless you want to use a clean glove every time you want to re apply. That’s the beauty of something like a pump dispenser, you can make sure that your lube doesn’t get contaminated.
It’s a lot safer since it’s a natural product. It lasts so much longer than water based lube, you don’t need as much and feels better.
It is healthy for your skin so it helps also with soreness. Not an issue with silicon toys, it won’t damage them at all. Cleaning wise it is easy, just warm water and soap will do.
