Helix Syn Trident is too big for me… is there another model that works?

I’m completely new to this so please bear with me…

I ordered and just received the Helix Syn Trident after seeing it being recommended as beginner friendly. But I was surprised to see the size. My wife tried inserting her index finger and even that was painful, so I’m not sure how I can fit this inside of me. I’ve suffered from an anal fissure in the past so I don’t want to risk re-tearing it.

Is there another model that could work for me? Or can the Helix Syn Trident fit inside me if I’m patient enough with it?

  1. I believe the Eupho is thinner. The Aneros website will list all the dimensions so you can double check. You may be able to get the Helix to work by 1) Relaxing – a warm shower first may help. 2) use a bunch of lube both on the Aneros and inserted at your hole and 3) I find it easiest to insert while laying on my left side and hiking my right leg up toward my chest. Again, be very generous with the lube and do your best to relax. Don’t clench. You could even use a child’s liquid medicine dispenser to help lube up inside your hole if it is your first time. Good luck!

  5. Been at it for 2 years with good results. I still use my Eupho a lot. It moves very well. It’s smaller in diameter than the Helix. I think it would be a good starter for you.
