Penis/Prostate goes numb. Problem with blood circulation.

Hi everybody

First of all, thank you for all your posts and tips. I’ve been making great progress until now.

I’ve been using my Aneros Helix Trident Syn since around April this year IIRC. I am at a point where I can have low/medium p-waves and even had an orgasm using LSD once early into my journey.

Problem is, since the last 3-4 sessions (ca. 1 month), I start to get a tingling feeling in my penis when using the toy and shortly after I lose pleasure and feeling in my penis and prostate. My penis even shrinks to an unusual small length. When this happens (after like 2-5min. into the session), I remove the toy and rub my penis, which gets blood into my penis again after some minutes and I can get an erection again.

I have never had any erectile dysfunctions before, but to be honest, I am a smoker and I guess it is linked to it. So my questions are:

Did anybody ever experience the same? Was it because of smoking? Did you stop smoking and did it improve?

Thanks in advance for your help!

  1. Temporary numbness is usually caused by reduced blood flow from pressure on an artery. Personally I get the exact same problem from riding a bicycle for 10 minutes or so. As soon as I feel numbness I stand up on the bike until it passes. It passes quickly because I am using my legs which pumps a lot of blood. It’s probably the external part of the Aneros pressing on the same region. Have you tried aligning it to the left or right, i.e. off-centre? This way it should miss the artery however it might then not hit your prostate correctly. If it stops the numbness but misses the prostate maybe there is a way to twist the device so it aligns to suit your body.

  2. Follow-up: Quit smoking and it got better.

Additional reason: Used LSD for rewiring of the brain. LSD is a vasoconstrictor (narrowing of blood vessels). Combined with smoking (plaguing up of blood vessels), it can accelarate erectile dysfunction.
