I have personally blocked a certain user

Hello guys.

As you may have noticed over the past few days, there has been a certain user on this sub who’s “feedback” leaves something to be desired.

On a personal level this user has weaponized my history of addiction against me (quote: “You are addicted” Quote: “You are obsessed’). I shared that history openly and without shame on this sub in the understanding that we respect each other and support each other. and i thank those of you that stood up to this users comments by downvoting him in such instances.

He has also been threatening (Quote: “You have been warned, I am watching!”)

He has also been sexist and misogynistic (Quote: “You would write great chick-Lit”)

On a general level he has been trying to scare other users with something called “Kundalini Syndrome”, which, as far as i can tell, is something to do with the East Indian Mystical Tradition. This sub is about the Aneros Prostate Massager and Prostate Orgasms and has nothing at all to do with ones spiritual awakening.

Do not get me wrong, i am not discounting the truth of “Kundalini Syndrome” or of any spiritual practice. we are all entitled to believe whatever we choose. But, to state it again clearly for the record: THIS SUB IS ABOUT ANEROS PROSTATE MASSAGE AND PROSTATE ORGASMS.

As it relates specifically to the Aneros, this user is also trying to scare other users away from practicing Kegels, stating, with no evidence, that Kegels will cause harm via “Pelvic Tension”. Kegels are a fundamental exercise to learn and use in pursuit of Aneros prostate massage and prostate orgasms. By trying to scare users into avoiding Kegels this user is actually providing detrimental advice to newcomers.

I have been reading this sub for about 6 months and been an active member for a month now and this sub has been an incredible example of support and inclusion for newcomers and veterans alike who just want to share the incredible miracle of prostate orgasms with as many people as possible.

Let’s keep that positivity pure.

To that end, whilst it doesn’t fix the problem, i have blocked this user from my feed. Blocking him will, at least, keep his particular brand of negativity out of your feed.

Because i have blocked this user i will not see any comments he may decide to leave, and for that i am sorry. I will be totally unaware of whatever misleading, harassing or erroneous comment he may leave.

I have flagged this user to the mods for the cited reasons and also reported the user to Reddit overall for harassment.

Thanks guys.

  1. I’m not familiar with the poster you refer to, but his cautions aren’t necessarily false.

The kundalini thing has some legitimacy to it also. The aneros is very much a meditational practice. And if you’ve read the multi-orgasmic man the connections drawn to kundalini work are not subtle at all. They might even explicitly call out the root chakra.

You may not like dude’s tone or attitude, and I’m sure he can use more tact, but just because you don’t like HOW someone tells you something, doesn’t mean it’s not factual.

As for the stalking type stuff and inappropriate comments. Report it to the mods. Making a post like this kind of reflects poorly on your character.

  2. His posts were bugging me too. I considered blocking him but I wanted to be able to downvote his posts so new people would see the downvotes and know not to take him too seriously. Just saying, if the mods did want to ban him I wouldn’t be opposed to it.
I also looked into the Kundalini Syndrome and couldn’t find anything reliable on it. It’s one thing if you have a legitimate concern and you’re just trying to warn people about it. But his warnings were vague and he couldn’t back up his claims with anything concrete. And to me he came across as condescending and unhelpful.
In regards to the pelvic tension I don’t think he’s completely wrong. From what I’ve read if you overdo kegels or do them incorrectly it can lead to tightening of the pelvic floor muscles which actually can cause some issues (pain, muscle spasms, constipation, etc.) The key is to allow your muscles to relax completely in between contractions and make sure you’re not flexing the wrong muscles (glutes, abs, etc.) Also I read something saying the remedies of pelvic tension are to allow the muscles to relax and to massage them. I would assume the Aneros takes care of the massaging part (it is called a massager). And if you’re taking the advice of completely relaxing during a session that part should be taken care of as well.
Personally I started making a lot of progress through kegels and finding the distinction between the PC and sphincter muscles. I don’t think we should scare people away from using them because of an issue that is preventable and fixable.
Anyways, OP, I wanted to say I’ve been lurking on this sub a lot so I’ve read most of your posts over the last month or so and really appreciate the positivity and enthusiasm you bring to this sub. Thanks bud!

  3. Kundalini Syndrome is really just a sudden overabundance of energy. Especially felt when unblocking certain chakras. The issue arises when one associates with negative thoughts, but really it should just be embraced. You will often feel this energy quite intensely when trying to astral project. I believe the same energy is involved with the prostate. It is the core of our root chakra and through it, all energy is expressed. Their negativity is likely a projection of their own failures with kundalini.

  4. I’m flattered. I said Chick Flick; like the movies. I developed severe pelvic floor issues do to Kegels. I speak what I know. You do not. The warnings are about the the Kundalini Syndrome; not a personal threat to you or your person. The watching is in reference to following your posts. Anyone can read your post history. I can scare no one, nor am I trying to. People should be made aware of the consequences of their actions. This consequence is the Syndrome. Ignorance is bliss, no?

  5. My issue is even if he has a point, he’s a troll. He’s there to talk about doom, not to help. When he engaged about the Mindgasm posts, that person (the site owner, I think) over and over asked what things might be good to mention and improve, and he would not say a single thing constructive. It was all “do your research!” and repeating the warnings. If you’re not going to be helpful when people ask and you’re still gonna show up to shit on things and talk about doom, you’re just a troll.

  6. I know a little about Kundalini saw it myself during my trip to India. I have seen some practitioners performing it in meditation halls with 100s of people. I personally believe the prostate induced “awakening “ is not kundalini awakening but a Pelvic Chakra awakening. Yoga focuses on awakening all the chakras for better lifestyle. This is all natural and safe.

  7. TBH, I don’t think they check in on here that frequently. Hopefully they’ll step in when they get a chance to catch up 😉

To those familiar with energy work, kundalini or whatever term you are comfortable with, there is no difference between what you are describing and the process of calling upon kundalini. To try to separate them is arbitrary.

Mantek Chia’s book specifically talks about trapped heat, or an overheated nervous system. Kundalini refers to the syndrome. There are many stories of poorly initiated monks who would develop this illness after meditating for long periods of time on a weak foundation. I experiences it myself, and I cant describe how unpleasant it was. Like the good feelings took a wrong turn. It feels like fire, like your whole body is burning. Rushes of heat. Feeling out of your own body. God forbid you experience it while high.

If you don’t want to speak to the man in question, then don’t. You can ignore. But heed the warnings. Once a month or so, the aneros forums have a poor soul in crisis. And if you ever find yourself in crisis, you are welcome to visit the kundalini subreddit for assistance.

    Good luck on your travels.

  9. I never post here, but I have to tell you I support your frustrations 110%. I’ve seen that dude’s comments on so many posts here, and it’s always some bullshit – this isn’t some fucking earth goddess subreddit, talking about imaginary energies and shit. Given that “shaman” is a bullshit self-acclaimed occupation, it’s no wonder there isn’t some kind of test to keep the crazies out.
