How does it work + which one to get?

Hey friends!

I’m relatively new to all of this, have experimented a little with prostate play before. I have gotten some very interesting and pleasurable feelings so far. One session it even felt like I had an orgasm building.

How do those aneros work? I first thought theres some little motor in them that massages the prostate or they vibrate. Turns out they dont have any motor and only a few of them vibrate. I’m confused! Do you constantly have to flex your pelvic muscles in order to make the massage happen?

I have a chronic condition and therefore my energy is limited. I always felt sore and tired in my arms and legs after using a dildo. Would the aneros even be any different or do you really have to work hard in order to make the massage happen?
I’m thinking about just getting the vibrating model first but then where do I go from there? I don’t want to start with the most intense one right away.

Any input, explanations or tips will be appreciated!

  1. Almost none of them have any motor -and most people here will recommend you start with one without a motor, the Helix or Maximus maybe-.

You do not need to constantly flex/clench all the time. By simply being inside you, the massager will rest against your prostate and produce feelings.

The main way it “works” is you just relax and go with the flow. It takes a lot of time for most people to learn to orgasm with an aneros (you build up sensitivity), it seems like a year of regular use is normal before the first big-o. You already have some prostate experience so it might be faster for you!

  2. If you haven’t already, please read the wiki on this sub. The more you read up and learn the more successful you will be. The Helix Syn V is a great first choice but also keep in mind you can use it successfully with or without the vibrations.

Generally there are two techniques, “do nothing” and basically some form of kegels. Both a great to start but you should approach it as experimentation rather than following a guide step by step. There is no right answer, all the words are vague, and everyone is different. Learn to follow what feels good and you’ll progress fine. You might also get some good tips from the first few free mindgasm.net lessons. Try with or without a toy.
