A-less technique

I’ve been experimenting with an A-less technique that was written up on the Aneros forum and recently showed up on Reddit too. The technique has you contract the ischiocavernosus and bulbospongiosus muscles (aka “top/secret muscle in Mindgasm vernacular) ever so slightly to build up pleasurable sensations and the relax everything. During the relaxation phase, apparently some can continue to focus on the pleasureable sensations that got kicked started during the contraction phase and enter a pleasure loop that manifests into orgasm.

I can get very pleasurable feelings going by these ever so light “top” squeezes but can’t figure out how to build/amplify arousal during the relaxation phase.

Wondering if anyone here uses a similar technique and how they go about it. Any tips or variations welcome. Basically looking for a discussion on this topic as usually people have single pieces of fantastic wisdom that ends up being the key for others success.

Thanks in advance!

  1. Hey. 🙂 I’m sorry, that you struggle with that particular part. The relaxation and pleasure accumulation part is the one, most people have issues with. I think this is due to a blockage of “sexual energy”. Let me explain: As you might know, the sexual energy generated by an aneros massager or by a-less techniques is both quite intense (not even comparable with an ejaculatory orgasm) but also quite fragile. Our body has the tendency to suppress sensations from becoming too intense. We have a subconscious anxiety of sensations becoming too intense, fearing, that we could spiral into a loss of control.

Let me give you 2 examples: When I explored my sexuality in my early teenage years, I wasn’t able to bring myself to my first orgasm for many months. I only stimulated myself to the edge and stopped, fearing, that the sensations could grow too intense. Or when I had my first THC-high, I was anxious and couldn’t enjoy it because it felt “too good” and I was afraid, that the sensation could grow stronger than I was able to handle.

Now, whenever we use the aneros massager or an a-less technique, our body has mechanisms in place, to prevent the sensations from becoming too strong. We basically suppress the intense pleasureable from arising and we don’t even notice. We desire the sensations to grow into a Super-O but at the same time we and our body are too afraid subconsciously.

There are some ways to prevent that from happening. First and foremost: Don’t force it. But the key here is to lean and indulge in the pleasure that is already there. Even if the pleasure is still weak, savor it and treat it as the best thing in the world. Hear into your body (and your mind) recognize any opposing forces, try to eliminate them and keep your pelvic floor perfectly and stomach totally relaxed (as tiny contractions can be part of that opposing forces). It also helped me tremendously in my rewiring journey, to treat every single pleasurable peak (however weak it may be) as an orgasm.

I hope I could help and I wish you all the best in your Super-O endeavours. 🙂

    Kind regards.

  2. This has been a fascinating thread to follow, and I especially appreciate the responses from u/DarkOrb20.
I didn’t get a chance to post much when I requested the link to the Aneros community, because I did not have access to a keyboard. I was traveling overseas with the family, so was “forced” to practice a-less techniques because I did not travel with my toys.
For context, I have been experimenting with p-play for many years and have an N-joy wand, Aneros MGX and Progasm. I performed NNN 2 months ago and did the Mindgasm 30 day challenge. I feel like I have slowly been developing the ability to appreciate new sensations and control individual muscles, but it has been a slow-go. This thread has jumped forward my understanding, especially based on the the individuals describing what they are doing and feeling.
I’ve discovered recently that nipple play (especially the right?) will produce what I believe is the “butterflies” sensation deep in the lower pelvis. However, I also find that this may expire after a few minutes of stimulation. For the OP, if you are having trouble with the relaxation phase, I suggest that you try nipple stim to keep the sensations building during that phase.
I think I may have figured out the “top” muscle based on the excellent descriptions provided here. I’ve known for quite a while that if I hold a PC contraction just the right way, after a little while I can get contractions at the base of the penis. Following this tread, I have been trying to lightly contract that same muscle without contracting the PC. Like the OP, I visualized drawing twin bands of muscle together just under the pubis. I think that I may have been doing this too strongly or for too long, as a couple of times I had quite the ache in my pelvis for a while, and it was not pleasant! It kind of felt like blue balls. However, with trial and error it seems that trying to contract this muscle would also contract an area between the anal sphincter and the PC muscle. It basically feels like it’s right in the middle of the perineum and right where the prostate would seem to be. I have known for a while that I can sort of “lift” this area (I suspect due to practicing with the different muscles in the area), but never really thought much about it. I just assumed that this muscle was an extension of either the anal sphincter or PC, and since nobody else had mentioned it, I assumed that it was not part of the p-gasm process. I read on Mindgasm that, to find the top muscle, one should envision almost drawing the penis in or downward. When I do this, it’s the same muscle that seems to be involved, but it doesn’t seem to be “imaginary.” I feel like I generate a lot more precum when working this muscle, and this seems to be the source of involuntaries, although they are still hard for me to maintain.
So, is this the “top” muscle, even though it actually seems to be between the “base” and “center?” I do seem to be able to activate this muscle, with practice, independently of the PC or sphincter.
I feel like I can maintain a light contraction of this muscle, while also sometimes visualizing a pulsing “push” as if I’m trying to push fluid out. It’s not really a bearing down, but almost trying to replicate what happens when I ejaculate normally. As I experiment with this phenomenon while writing this, it almost feels like a “rocking” back and forth between this “top” or perineal muscle (I suspect that this is the ischiocavernosus) and the PC muscle. Does anybody have any experience with this?
I apologize for the rambling post. I think that my biggest challenge continues to be getting my brain to get out of the way. I can generate a number of pleasurable sensations and inconsistently involuntaries. I can inconsistently get p-waves as well. I struggle to “bury” myself in the p-waves and to stop trying to chase things. I appreciate the advice to treat every pleasurable sensation as an orgasm – I think that will help me to avoid being disappointed with “another failure.”
