First time aneros user with Helix Trident—felt some good sensations but only if I clenched quite a bit. Do I need a bigger toy?

This is my first time using an aneros, but not my first time stimulating my prostate. I’ve only ever done it with a finger before but decided to take the plunge and get a toy.

And I was actually surprised to find how light the “touch” was when the aneros was in compared to using my finger. I feel like I need more pressure on my prostate to feel it, and really only felt some clear sensations when I would contract my PC muscle very tightly.

Should I stick with the helix or maybe get a progasm?

Anyone ever heard a doctor’s opinion on prostate toys like Aneros?

I know that prostate massage is a legitimate practice in western medicine, with many doctors performing it themselves, but I’m curious to know if anyone has ever gotten the opinion of a medical professional about prostate toys.

The reason I ask is because I know there are a great many pleasurable things out there that are not exactly healthy, and just because everyone’s doing it doesn’t mean it’s safe.

I’ve gotten a taste of prostate pleasure and would love to explore more—but have never owned a toy. Aneros would probably be my first choice.

But I’m nervous….I know that rectal tissue is pretty delicate and I’ve read stories about people injuring their rectum and prostate before from inserting objects in their ass.

And although anal sex is widely practiced—the long term effects of it are not really clear with some experts saying it could possibly lead to permanent issues such as weakened muscle control and stuff.

I’m kind of someone that worries a lot about my health anyway, so I’m always thinking of consequences to things.

Thanks!
