I’ve been using the aneros for a few years on and off. I’ve committed to being a bit more consistent with it now that I have more free time. I’ve done two hour long sessions and have been using the breathing techniques and I don’t really feel like I’m hitting my prostate. I kind of feel like I’m just hitting my rectum wall. What I’ve been imagining is that the helix is like a hammer, when I contract it is brought up and when i relax it comes down onto the prostate.
I’m guessing the solution is just to keep at it but I’m not really sure if I’m doing it right. One thing I noticed is that the p tab isn’t even touching the perineum and the back tab is actually pressed into my tail bone.
Any suggestions on positions/ techniques/ feeling I should be looking for to hit the prostate?
Sorry for stream of consciousness

I feel the same way about the tabs on my Helix Trident. The back tab really presses into me and the P tab doesn’t seem to have as much contact.
I think of your hammer analogy backwards. “resting” the Aneros hammer is down and away from my prostate, and flexing the muscles brings it in contact with my prostate. It’s the involuntary waves/flexing that bring the device into contact with the prostate.
Do you “warm up” at all before sessions? There is a noticable difference when I jack off for a period of time before sticking the Aneros in vs. sticking it in and trying to get turned on. Maybe try and get yourself to the brink of “I’m going to cum” a couple of times and stop, then put the Aneros in and don’t touch your dick. Focus on the device and do some contractions to move it around. What gets me going is clamping down on the device with your PC/sphincter muscles for as long as you can (not as tight as you can, but with enough force, think 50% hold) and slowly try and let it up. Do this a bunch of times before the fluttering starts (for me at least) and then you’re in the feedback loop! Muscles contract bringing the device in contact with your prostate, which in turn makes your muscles twitch. Repeat.
Good luck!
I’m the same. Can’t feel p-tab on my perineum. Did the contractions TONS yet no fluttering of any sort.
