I’ve heard bigger is not always better in this camp enough times that I thought I knew better and went ahead and upgraded from my old mgx (had the springy tail, removed it,got better but never finished with it) and got a helix trident (hate the k-tab, also removed it, decidedly feel like it was an improvement)
My experience with the difference between the two follows:
– The MGX is definitely capable of more mobility in the in-out direction
– The angle of the Helix is definitely hitting something, and when it’s mobile, (along the spine-bladder axis) feels like it’s stronger.
But at the end of the day, my Helix keeps feeling like it’s gotten “stuck” either because the size creates more pressure that displaces the lubricant film or because the size is getting caught up in some pelvic floor muscle’s I’ve yet to figure out how to relax.
So for now, I’m alternating sessions between the two and trying to work out how to best use each.
Any advice (aside from drugs…I would try but I legally/occupationally can’t) is always welcome.

I actively use both of these in my sessions. Both are comparable to each other. I’ve had my best Os with both too. They do move really good over the P spot. For me it’s a toss up. I also have the Progasm Jr in the line up too. It feels really good also but a bit different sensationwise compared to the others. Different toys give different sensations. My advice through some experience would be to make sure the exiting stem part of your toy has plenty of lube. I notice with me the stem can get stuck or not move in & out much, if it gets dry. The involuntaries will pull on it but sometimes it won’t move much. Hence: more lubrication. Problem is water based lubes don’t seem to hold up that well and I’m not sure silicone lubes are all that good for you. 🤔🤔🤔
I think the MGX just feels more mobile since it creates more sensation at the anus due to the ripple texture there. Also the reason why I really enjoyed it as my first aneros – you get great feedback even if your feeling at the p-spot hasn’t really developed yet. Sizewise, aren’t they quite close? Maybe you’d enjoy the Eupho, which is the slimmest, but similar to the Helix in the angle.
I’m not an expert but def advanced and own multiple toys. I’ve never been able to get anything from a Helix.
The MGX on the other hand is my old standby. It always delivers. Always.
