I have a Helix Syn Trident. I can assure you I have been trying, but I haven’t felt any pleasure. Yes, I have experienced involuntary contractions, but those yield nothing. I have read every guide, tried every type of audio, porn, binaural beat, position, lube and level of contraction, and I have felt nothing. I’m kind of disappointed that I spent so much money without anything to show for it.
However, such may be a virtue or a weakness, I really don’t want to give up. Nonetheless, I have no idea what to do. What can I do? Is there anything I can focus on, anything to practice with contractions or kegels or anything to get the desired effect? I’m not even looking for an orgasm at this point, I just want some proof that this is all real and it’s something I can achieve.

Have you considered the mindgasm.net lessons? I don’t fault you for trying so hard to justify the sunk time and money, just realize that the disappointment you’re (I’m assuming) feeling could be stopping you from feeling it.
Do you start your sessions feeling horny? I find that I need at least a little seed of arousal that the Aneros can nurture into pleasurable sensations and eventually dry orgasms. If the seed’s not there then I might as well not bother sticking anything in.
Hey man, I’m in the same boat as you, so I’m glad I’m not alone in that respect. I have a Helix Trident and a Progasm, the Helix doesn’t do anything for me but sometimes I get some pretty good sensations from the Progasm despite it not being “beginner friendly”. As another user said, arousal might be the problem, I don’t go into my sessions aroused and it’s difficult to get that arousal without touching your penis. I’m gonna try edging and see if it helps.
Hey man, I’ve been using it for a few years now. It really is about persistence. If you’re very new to it you might be going into it expecting everything to happen.
When I started I would get any small sensation and chance that to try to cum. Like clenching, bearing down on it, twitching all my muscles. But it would scare it away basically. After trying for a while I just gave up chasing it and thought, whatever happens, happens. Game changer.
Especially at the beginning the sensations are so subtle you might not even notice them. Everything I thought it would be has changed now and looking back, I was only chasing the orgasm. Now the whole session is amazing. I haven’t had the super o yet, but the build up is so amazing that I’m not chasing it. It will happen when it happens.
Try to let go of your expectations and just do it for the heck of it, eventually it will turn good and things start to click in your mind.
Your body is not used to this stimulation yet, so when you first feel pleasure you’ll learn to recognise it and build on it
