Way to fix the Maximus trident?

So I started off with the helix syn trident. Loved it and wanted to move up and try something new. Ordered the Maximus trident. Tried it out and it’s just decent in my opinion (I think I prefer the feel of the syn material). I do also believe the top Knob loop thing grinds into your P-spot from the outside and is very uncomfortable. I had heard pellets removing it and making it not sharp.

Anyone ever modify their toy and remove the P tab (think that’s what they call it) successfully? I don’t want to ruin a toy is all.

Thank you! Happy new year

  1. I have a different Trident model and also found the P-tab to be uncomfortable. At first it would feel fine, but during long sessions I’d get sore.

Not sure if this was the best way to do it, but I used a torch lighter to modify mine. I carefully heated the really narrow part to bend the tab back slightly. I also heated the tab itself and used a metal spoon to form the tab into more of a sphere, rather than the oblong shape it comes in. I’m pretty happy with the result, I may even try going at it a 2nd time because I think I can still improve it slightly.

The key will be not to overheat the plastic so it melts or over-deforms, but it’s also quite a durable plastic so you should be fine as long as you’re careful.

  2. Use Sugru it’s moldable rubber, and mold it around the ptab. I did this to my original Helix. Just keep silicon lube away as it degrades rubber after a while, had to apply sugru twice because of it.
