I want to buy a progasm. The newer, 20th anniversary edition is out but it isn’t available anywhere other than the aneros website, which I can’t order from (also Amazon isn’t really available here, but I couldn’t find it there anyway).
I’d like to know if it’s worth waiting for it to be available elsewhere, or just buying the older version. How much different is the new progasm to the old one? Is it a lot better/worse?

Personally, I have the new version which is now my go to toy, but I can’t compare it to the older one because I don’t have it.
I compared both by using them…there’s not a LOT of difference, they removed the extra amount of plastic between the arms at the base (assume was for added strength to keep arms from breaking off, not sure) and it seems to me that the first (lower) bump on the toy is a little bit larger on the newer version. Also, at least in the toy I got, the neat (but 0-function) air bubble in the old one (I got the clear plastic ones) is missing.
Functionally, I really didn’t notice any difference…I think having the extra amount of plastic at the base made it easier to get to to push it back in (both old and new versions with me can tend to push out if I’m not careful), but minor point. I do think it is maybe a tiny bit larger on that bottom bump and feels like it spreads me open a tiny bit more, but other than that…seems to work exactly the same as the older version…
