What happens right before your super-o?

When you get into a session and you’re on the cusp of a super o, what does your body do?

For me, my quivering and shaking and moaning come to a complete stop and my body becomes perfectly still. In that moment, my vision begins to become unfocused and my breathing really slows down and all I can feel is aneros and pleasure. This lasts for about 10 seconds, then the pleasure rises exponentially to the super o.

How about you? Does your body do anything interesting before a super o? This pattern for me doesn’t always happen, but usually.

  1. Tbh… it feels like I am going to slide off the planet. .. I just get this feeling of almost falling… then off I go

  2. When I feel it’s imminent I’m much the same as the OP. It’s like time slows down and I get very still. I don’t thrash around however, but more like slip into an unbelievable state of bliss that lasts for 20-30 seconds to sometimes several minutes.

The OP noted that visually the edge of the ceiling and wall get wavy and that really resonated with me. Visually if my eyes are open I sometimes find my vision unfocused on anything in particular and things literally seem to vibrate (I guess my eyes start farting around in sheer pleasure).

It really is difficult to put into words how it feels, but saying a 50/10 on the pleasure scale seems to fit well. It is intense beyond belief in some ways but soothing and calming at the same time.

I only know this: I wish I had learned how to relax and focus much sooner. It took me many years to learn how to relax my pelvic floor muscles and allow orgasm to expand and how to follow the cycle of involuntary contractions and counter them with total relaxation.

For me: once I accepted that a quiet and still meditative state combined with focused relaxation when the tension builds involuntarily is what creates the cycle and expansive orgasms, I quickly found I can have prostate orgasms easily, and am occasionally blessed with the super o, when I least expect it.

  3. Bit like you – I find my breathing slowing down. Twitching stops. Eyes close. Sense of ‘me’ fades away as my focus is drawn to this tingling ball of energy and pleasure under my pubic bone… it’s like a sense of total calm and total joy … that even after so many of them I still struggle to believe I’m capable of feeling.

What follows that is a wall of whole body pleasure washing out to every part of my body and then folding back inwards again before repeating the cycle. This can go on for well over the minute mark – I’ve never had the ability to actually time a super O (I’m kind of occupied / washed away) but they last for what feels like ages and once one hit’s many more follow.

I think the wash of calm joy and stillness leading up to a super O is in some ways the most lovely part of the experience….. just my POV…

  4. Awesome thread, thanks for posting it!!

Can I just ask the super O guys here a qualifying question?

Just before the super O, what – if any – contractions do you experience or is everything just calm and still? Thanks, as much detail as you can give is really appreciated.
