4 years and still no dice

It’s been four years since I got my Helix Syn. During that time I’ve also bought the Progasm.

On this journey there have been ups and downs. During a bad session I get nothing. During a good session I’ll leak precum and get some moderately good sensations. I mostly lie on my back with a pillow under my hips. Although I have tried most other positions as well.

I have tried using a lot of lube (coconut oil + water based) and I’ve tried using little. I’ve tried abstaining from orgasm a few days before and I’ve tried the day after an orgasm.

I usually start by doing nothing for a while and then clenching softly. Holding the clench and breathing. I usually play with my nipples during sessions.

Do you guys have any suggestions for me? I see a lot of guys recommending weed as an aid but that’s out of the question for me. I’ve never felt this disheartened about the Aneros, there was always hope but now I feel I’m loosing that hope.

Please help me.

  1. For me. Laying face down, knees slightly bent propping my ass slightly up works wonders. Also weed. I usually listen to some binaural beats as well. For laying on your back, removing the red handle on the Helix Syn made all the difference.

  2. Personally, things didn’t click for me until I did a bit more exploring. These are the things that I think helped me.

    1) changing the way I do traditional masturbation. I started keeping my breathing deep and slow and consciously noticing sensations other than those being felt in my dick. I tried different methods of stimulation (the best one being the “rosey palms” technique). This gradually helped me get a lot more in tune to how my body behaves as arousal increases. I started to see that the penis plays a relatively small role in things and started to notice other changes. For example, my sexual responses gradually changed. If I see a sexy sight, my body no longer responds by giving me a boner – instead I feel a twitching sensation around my prostate. It’s more subtle but much longer lasting and more enjoyable and will grow if I allow myself to stay aroused. A boner will only come if I start vigorously stimulating my penis (but they’re much longer lasting and easier to maintain than before).

    2) exploring the mental side. The techniques detailed in The Multi-orgasmic Man are a good starting point but it boils down to making your brain notice sexual arousal throughout your body rather than ignoring all that and just focusing on the genital/abdominal area. This took a while for me until it clicked that you don’t have to mentally force energy to move through your body – it happens by itself, you just need to attune your mind to enjoy it and associate it with things that sexually arouse you.

    3) (happened as a result of the above) change of mentality. If i’m ragingly horny and want to orgasm, then I’ll get comfortable and make that happen by masturbating. If I want to just lie down and spend some time enjoying and revelling in my own sexual arousal, then I’ll have a prostate session (with or without a toy). If my body happens to orgasm, excellent. If it doesn’t, I’ll still enjoy every second and have the option of wanking off afterwards.

  5. I persisted, and am glad for it. Try face down, face over edge of bed, tightly rolled up pillow around navel level. Also, watch a bit of porn before, but then turn it off and fantasise. Experiment with nipple play using skin cream or lotion. I did that for 15 minutes after each session, and after a few weeks, started noticing something (an awareness of subtle energy inside), that can now build to an orgasm on its own. Now, I alternate the two, 10 minutes on nipple play, 30 minutes with Aneros. By round 3, the orgasms are building. Learn the difference between two different muscular clenches: anus and “holding back urine”. Then, incorporate them while your face down, alternately. Good luck!

  7. I think I’ve started making progress after a year and half of nothing happening.

    Two things changed for me:

    1. Finding the prostate. I did some reading on where it should be and what it should feel like, then stuck a finger up there and had a rummage around until I found it.

    2. I got a Njoy wand. It helped me work out what I like and where to push, and it has seemed to wake things up. Last night I went back to the aneros for the first time after getting the wand and I had some involuntary contractions and some interesting feelings for the first time.
