I ordered a Helix Syn from a well reviewed third party vendor on Amazon. If anyone remembers their box:
1. Was it taped closed in anyway?
2. The “user manual” inside references the Peridise and not the Helix Syn. Is that how it’s supposed to be?

Mine came in a really nice red box that had a magnet open/close lid. That box was placed in a sealed plastic container which was placed in an envelope which was placed in the box they mailed it in.
Don’t remember any tape but it was clearly brand new.
There was apiece if a circular sticker over the box lid that kept it closed. Professional looking seal. The Peridise and an eris instructions are usually in the same box. If the toy was used it may have carried an odor. Sometimes it lasts even after you wash or bleach or sterilize
