Figuring this out – my journey so far

I’ve been using the helix syn trident for about 6 months. My progression was: I’m excited by something new (first couple of weeks) —> hmm, that’s a nice feeling (first month) —> those nice feelings are making my whole body twitch a little – is that in my head? (First couple months) —> are dry orgasms real or is everyone full of shit? I’m really getting impatient…this still feels pretty good though (month 3) —> whoa, I’m getting close but I can’t quite achieve what I’d call an orgasm. It’s like when I feel a sneeze coming on and then for some reason it fades out (month 4) —> holy shit…I think I’m going to cum (mentally high fives self)…finally!…oh, a WET HFO…ok, that was an amazing orgasm but not what I expected…I was clenching too much. Ease up on the clenching! (month 5) —> don’t clench, don’t clench, damn this feels good…DON’T CLENCH!…yes, yes, yes…this feels amazing…orgasmic feelings and clenching of my core muscles…that was definitely a dry HF…oh shit…I’m not done yet…here comes another one…mmm-yes-unfff…and another smaller one…oops, fuck it…I want to cum…clench…clench again…clench…amazing wet HFO (month 6) —> focus on not clenching…this is happening quickly…this is a dry orgasm (after 10 minutes)…OMG…that was amazing…another one? Yes, yes, yes!!! In a two hour session, I counted 20 DRY HFOs! Just incredible and completely satisfying. I have not had a wet orgasm in weeks and feel incredibly satisfied. I don’t think I had what I’d consider a super O yet but it gives me something to look forward to.

This toy is simply amazing. When I’m not using it, I spend a lot of time on my breathing technique: when I’m on a call, laying down to go to bed, driving. Breathing, in my opinion, is key to unlocking your prostate’s potential. In fact I can trigger p waves just by breathing.

It’s a long road and requires focus and patience. Good luck to everyone still on that journey. Don’t give up. It’s definitely worth it.

Please reach out if anyone has questions. I’m happy to share what I can to help you!

Cheers, gents!

  1. Thanks for sharing this. It’s interesting to read about someone else’s journey that so closely matches mine. Everything through month 4 is exactly how I would describe it, but I’ve been stuck there for about a month now. Every session I’ll get to a peak where it feels like I’m getting really close and then it just fades away.

I was wondering if you could elaborate on your breathing technique. I try to focus on taking deep, slow breaths but if I do that it takes my focus away from the good sensations I’m feeling and they start to go away.

  2. Diaphragm breathing. Slowly inhale – about 4~5 seconds – hold for about 5 seconds, and then exhale for about 7-8 seconds. Repeat this a few times. I feel like it puts my body in balance. It makes me start to generate sensations. When the aneros is in it pushes it against my prostate.

Diaphragm breathing is new for me and it took a lot of practice to get used to it. I think it was the key to help me progress though.

  3. Your experience is very similar to mine, except that I’ve never had an HFWO at the moment. I’m not looking to get one anyway. The sessions where the orgasms follow one after the other are fantastic!

The amazing thing is that the progress seems endless.

    Have a good trip!

  4. I am most definitely on your fourth point. It’s hard to not actively chase something you want to have

  5. I just got one today and I’m looking for a little help. How many hours a week did you practice?

Is the MGX Trident good for a first timer?

When I’m coming to the end of a session I can help but masturbate to orgasm, will my progress be slower because of this?
