I’ve found conflicting info online, many say it’s great and amazing while others say it’s a risky idea. I picked up some natural shea butter recently and am wondering if it is safe to use with my helix syn.

Was this my first P-wave?
So I’ve been using the aneros for maybe a little under a year now, and the past month or more I have been seemingly stuck with little progress being made. Today I used it, was just laying back listening to some relaxing music, had the involuntary contractions going. All of a sudden I felt some sort of building in my pelvis, felt a bit good and then it began to spread throughout my body slowly and then as soon as it came on it was gone. I tried relaxing more to see if I could get it to happen again but had no luck, and the session after then died down and I couldn’t get anywhere. Is this what people call a p-wave? I don’t remember feeling this before, and honestly I hope it is because I was getting frustrated with no progress being made.
If it was any advice on what to do for my next session? I’m still not even sure what I’m doing and I’m kind of just contracting all sorts of muscles because of what I’ve heard on here.
What to do when you feel like youve hit a wall?
Ive been using my aneros on and off for probably over half a year now, but have been using it much more frequently in recent months. Lately the biggest progress ive made is getting to the point of my legs start shaking, but thats it, I dont feel anything when they do shake or anything that makes it more of an annoyance. People have told me to keep at it, that its normal not to feel anything, and to just keep doing the usual because things will slowly improve.
That was maybe 5 sessions ago with no improvements so far, if anything the only improvement I had was slightly changing my position so theres more pressure on the prostate, or at least I think thats what is happening. I did get a very mild amount of some feeling today, that felt like a sort of warmth coming from my prostate, but I dont think it was anything noteworthy as it only lasted for about 10 seconds and then wouldnt come back.
Im almost starting to believe a lot of the stories are exaggeration or something because it seems the *majority* of users are in the same boat as me or have had very little happen to them. Right now my aneros is feeling like an expensive piece of plastic, I wish I could get better results or know that im actually making progress but im just frustrated at this point because its taking up hours of my day each time I do it. Any tips on how I can keep making progress?
How different is the progasm from the helix syn?
I’ve been using my syn for probably around half a year now and am thinking of switching to the progasm. I’m slightly worried about the size of it though, inserting and removing, I also heard it falls out for a lot of people. What sort of differences can I expect if I switch?
How would you describe the difference between a prostate orgasm and a super O?
Asking because I’ve had times where I had a nice pleasurable feeling that would build in my prostate, then it would go away. Wouldn’t feel any more pleasurable than a regular orgasm. I’ve heard people say that when you have a super o you’ll know and that it’s way different than prostate orgasms, so what exactly is the difference between the two?
Nothing really happening when legs are shaking?
So I believe I made some good progress today, though I’m not sure if I really did or not. I think I finally got to the point where your legs begin to shake, and was like that for maybe more than half an hour with not much really happening. I changed positions a few times while my legs were shaking, and noticed that it only happens when I’m laying on my back, feet flat on the bed and knees in the air. You think this is normal to happen? This also has me kind of second guessing if it really was caused by the aneros and wasn’t my legs just getting tired or something.
Aside from that I didn’t really notice anything major in terms of difference in pleasurable feelings anywhere. I was having involuntaries for a while and eventually stopped even feeling that they were happening, almost like my butt was numb. In the end I started getting some hard contractions and it seemed the shaking was very very slowly getting more drastic, but this unfortunately caused me discomfort as my bladder was full,I then ended the session there.
I’m a bit disappointed the shaking didn’t continue when I changed things up a little bit, like having my legs just flat on the bed, and it has me guessing if I maybe did something wrong or should have done something else. What are your guys thoughts on all this?
What position works best for you and why?
Title says it all, I’ve heard of people laying flat on bed, laying on their stomach, laying on their back with their butt on a pillow, laying on their side, etc… I have only tried laying on my back and I feel if you do have your butt elevated it does help certain aneros models work better because the tab thing does it’s job better, and isn’t obstructed by the mattress or anything. Curious to see what other people have felt has worked best for them.
First time using aneros in a while and nothing’s happening?
I haven’t used it in a while like the title says, used it today for a little over an hour and sad to say absolutely nothing was happening. I think I might have had involuntaries for a good while, but I felt no pleasure at all like in previous sessions. Is this a normal thing to happen do you know?
Questions about using shea butter.
Relatively new aneros user here, have owned it for awhle just havent used it much. I have been looking into different lubes for the aneros (Mine is the helix syn) and one of the most prominent ones I have found on the forums and what not is shea butter, so needless to say i have some questions about it before i go using it.
Is it safe?
What’s it like compared to water based lube?
What’s the cleanup process like?
How long does it last?
How does applying it to the aneros work compared to water based lube?
If I do end up buying it, what are some things I should know about it, and where is the most common place *to* buy it without raising suspicions or anything.
Is Vaseline safe to use with the helix syn?
I read online that the main thing to look out for when using the helix syn is silicon based lubes, as they will damage it or something. I’ve never used Vaseline before, especially with the helix syn, is it safe to use with it (like it won’t damage it or anything) and also is it just safe in general to use, because I don’t know how long it might last.
