I’ve heard bigger is not always better in this camp enough times that I thought I knew better and went ahead and upgraded from my old mgx (had the springy tail, removed it,got better but never finished with it) and got a helix trident (hate the k-tab, also removed it, decidedly feel like it was an improvement)
My experience with the difference between the two follows:
– The MGX is definitely capable of more mobility in the in-out direction
– The angle of the Helix is definitely hitting something, and when it’s mobile, (along the spine-bladder axis) feels like it’s stronger.
But at the end of the day, my Helix keeps feeling like it’s gotten “stuck” either because the size creates more pressure that displaces the lubricant film or because the size is getting caught up in some pelvic floor muscle’s I’ve yet to figure out how to relax.
So for now, I’m alternating sessions between the two and trying to work out how to best use each.
Any advice (aside from drugs…I would try but I legally/occupationally can’t) is always welcome.
