Part II – The Equipment

I have learned what types of pleasure my ass likes, and what types it loves. I have figured out through trial and error which types of toys work for me. And trial and error is really the only way to discover your toy preferences. Here are some concise reviews of the notable items in my toy drawer to help you in choosing your toys.

**Aneros Helix Trident** – This is a common Aneros to start with. The length and diameter of the Helix is a good ‘average’ and should give you some idea of what toys you may prefer based on your prostate’s location. The springiness of the Trident model helps with locating the toy on my prostate once I got better muscle control. Like most Aneros, this toy can quickly become uncomfortable to sit on for me but I can walk in it for miles. As in a 6 mile hike on uneven trails. Solid toy, would recommend if you are willing to work at it. Easy to insert and easy to clean.

**Aneros Eupho** – Thinner, longer, and more specific than the Helix. As is often commented, this toy is all about the delicate and gentle touch. This is a twitchy precision instrument and required patience for me to learn how to move this toy without overpowering it. I have days when I simply am not relaxed enough to use this toy effectively. The Eupho basically requires you to have excellent muscle tone and control for best results. Typically this is used for a gentle warm up or a long gentle meditative session.

Part I – The Method

It seems from following this sub-reddit that the vast majority of men begin focusing on their prostate in search of pleasure. That is a fantastic reason to do so, and no other reason is needed! I myself started the awakening process partly for that, but also to help address a specific physical health problem. Adding that dimension made it both more challenging and more rewarding for me. I felt that I could share parts of that experience in the hope that others find something of value here.

A few years ago, I had a lower inguinal hernia. Pretty good one, with mild complications due to some prior tissue damage. The surgery seemed to go ok, but I soon realized that my pelvic muscle alignment and movement were not right. It became obvious that my Psoas and pelvic muscles were compromised by the surgery, with scar tissue and serious loss of range of movement. I had trouble standing fully upright for any long period of time and my posture deteriorated. After 2 years of ongoing rehab, I incrementally regained my full range of motion by slowly pulling the misplaced staples through the scar tissue to the correct locations (my GP thought that this was still a safer approach than a new surgery, and not wanting to be cut up again I agreed with him). Yes, this was painful in general. Yes, it sometimes caused acute pain during sex and exercise. I experienced a severe energy block and loss of strength on that side of my body. The problem muscles resisted all attempts to open enough to fully heal. The persistent and unconscious guarding of a major yin line exhausted me enough that a solution was imperative.

Aneros is way too time consuming

Out of the maybe 100 sessions I have had, only once have I had what I think was a prostate orgasm. It was enjoyable, but it is very inconsistent. All of the variables have to be in check. I experience some pleasure, but its not really worth all the prep work. I don’t have a lot of personal free time and would rather “have a consistent quarter over a dollar every now and then.” I think the prep work would be worth it if I were having mind blowing pleasure on the norm, but its not worth it if its a 1/100 kind of thing.

I also am not a fan of aneros assisted ejaculatory orgasms (Super Ts). While it improves my erection quality, it weakens the sensations of orgasms. After ejaculating with the aneros in, it doesn’t have the same chemical reaction and I am left not fully fulfilled.

I only have the Helix Trident. I either want to try another model or just quit.

Any recommendations?

A-Less Orgasm!

So I have used my Aneros Helix Syn Trident about 5 times now over about 2 months, haven’t really got further than involuntaries with it. But….I JUST HAD MY FIRST A-LESS ORGASM.

Was literally just lying on my back, clothed, on my sofa and started clenching my ass and pc together, holding, then releasing PC first very slowly after about 15 seconds and then riding out the quivers and involuntaries that started…then they just kept going….and going…until a very gentle warm orgasm like feeling took over me, my dick got hard and just kept throbbing as if I was cumming but no cum came out. It was definitely an orgasm, it definitely felt great but everyone on here is right…it wasn’t a huge release, it was just an amazing warm ride that I feel like I could have kept going forever but I forced it to stop just because I am literally lying in my living room with my wife…

So fucking happy…I’m off to try for another 👍

Newbie questions about use outside of arousal.

Context: I’m a mid 20’s hetero male with a very open mind. I do enjoy anal, but never reached more than leaking on occasions (and orgasms via penis stimulation) with dildos/vibrator. Got the Helix Syn two or three weeks ago on a whim after finding a video on the progasm ice in use (you know the one). I read up on most information available on the wiki, forum, and here before starting my journey. This helped a LOT. I love it! Decided to stop my almost daily penile masturbation. I think I’m at “Pleasurable tingling in pelvic regions outside of sessions” going by the listed Milestones.

Question(s):

I understand this is not a butt plug, but would it be counter productive to have it inside when not actively concentrating on being aroused? As stated before I have pleasure and “cravings” for it outside of sessions (while at computer, video games, and watching TV. ie relaxing moments)

Is it bad if I fall asleep with it in?

What would be some expected discomforts to look out for?

Questions about using shea butter.

Relatively new aneros user here, have owned it for awhle just havent used it much. I have been looking into different lubes for the aneros (Mine is the helix syn) and one of the most prominent ones I have found on the forums and what not is shea butter, so needless to say i have some questions about it before i go using it.

Is it safe?

What’s it like compared to water based lube?

What’s the cleanup process like?

How long does it last?

How does applying it to the aneros work compared to water based lube?

If I do end up buying it, what are some things I should know about it, and where is the most common place *to* buy it without raising suspicions or anything.

njoy Pfun Plug Advice

I currently own 3 Aneros products: Helix Syn, Progasm Jr., and Progasm. All three work very well for me to achieve orgasms of various types and intensities.

A couple of months ago, I bought an njoy Pure Wand. I also can cum really well with the wand. I tend to use it when I’m in the mood for a more active than passive session. The wand also usually milks out some actual semen from my flaccid member.

I’m curious about the Pfun Plug and would like advice from others who have used it **and** Aneros products. I like the stainless steel of the wand in part because of the weight of it. Before I shell out more money, though, I’m wondering if the Plug is both as effective as the Aneros models (I’m not much doubting it would be, but you never know) and also if it provides a different experience.

By different experience, I mean similar to the difference in Aneros models. For example, the Helix tends to give me more bursts of p-waves and takes longer to build up to the first orgasm. The Progasm tends to start a very long, less intense but more sustained p-wave and depending on my horniness, it can jump from sustained and pleasant to that first orgasm pretty fast.

tl/dr: Is it worth the cash for the Pfun Plug or should I just stick with the toys I have?

Oh, wow. Something new.

Hey,

I’ve had the aneros for years, but have gone months in between without using it. Never got a super O or anything that didn’t require manual intervention to feel good. Anyway. I also have had bad hemorrhoids and while the helix did help me feel better after, it was definitely not a pleasure to use.

Cue the peridise. Smaller and shorter than most of the other massagers, I wasn’t expecting anything. I just knew I was able to sleep with them in safely. (The helix has this “hook” near the top which always hurts upon insertion/removal).

I’ve slept with the peridise in multiple times, and my hole is in MUCH better condition than it has been. And for the first time last night, while sleeping with it in, I woke myself up with the most intense ass-clenching of my life. Like, you’d think I was possessed or being stabbed in the butt. It happened about 3 times, but it was from a dead sleep to a 100% “thrust” – I can’t quite explain it. I didn’t cum at all, but I don’t even know if it was an orgasm. But it was definitely the most intense feeling in my butt as I’ve ever felt, and by far the furthest I’ve gotten with an aneros.

So, my testimonial is, if you have hemorrhoids, get the peridise. It’s small enough to leave in all day, go to sleep with, etc. It’ll help you heal, and might also hopefully end up with me ejaculating everywhere in my sleep.
